What a wonderful cat hotel! Took great care of our girls and treated them like their own. The girls settled in surprisingly quickly and were so well looked after. Huge suites with outside views, cat TV and plenty of other kit to keep them active and happy. Highly recommended!!!
It took a lot for us to leave our cats in a cattery as they are very shy and it was our first time But I knew this was the right place the moment I seen it. Lynsey and Carl were more than happy for me to visit before booking. It was quiet and so pretty. All of the cats had a huge space to live in and were rolling on their backs and purring when Lynsey and Carl went past each apartment. The space for the cats is huge. Plenty of room to play and climb, aswell as wild birds to watch from their windows. When we dropped our cats off we got to bring them to the room and settle them in. I cannot recommend this place enough. I felt confident knowing that our boys were in the best of hands and would be loved and cared for.
The BEST cattery in the UK! I spent weeks trawling through the internet and Facebook trying to find somewhere for my cat to go whilst we were on holiday. It might be a bit neurotic, but my cat is my baby and a really important member of our family, so I wouldn’t settle for anything short of amazing. We live in a 3 bed detached and she is an indoor cat, so she has free roam of the house at all times. I just couldn’t bear the thought of her being cooped up in a tiny room for 9 days. And then I stumbled across the Grove Luxury Cat Hotel. I almost didn’t believe it was real - the rooms looked SO big. We went to visit before we booked and the rooms really are as big as they look. The attention to detail is beyond impressive. Lynsey and Carl really have thought of everything. The rooms have under floor heating and there’s a little TV in the fireplace that has videos of wildlife for the cats. I felt so at ease from the moment I met Lynsey, and I just knew that my cat would be looked after like one of their own. I was so impressed that we’ve booked in advance for July next year (a whole year and 3 months away) I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. The weight off my shoulders knowing my cat was being looked after, had a large space and didn’t feel cooped up, meant I could relax and enjoy my holiday. There's nowhere I'd rather take my cat to than the Grove! Lynsey & Carl are absolutely lovely and do so much to accommodate you and your pets. I always worry about how my cat is getting on at other catteries, but at the Grove I know she's having a lovely holiday and is getting all the fuss and care she needs. The rooms are reasonably priced for what you get and they have a range to fit various budgets. Even the most affordable rooms are head and shoulders above anywhere else I've ever looked at. I worry about moving away from the area because I truly don't think I'd find somewhere as nice as this elsewhere in the UK! Features I love: - TVs with mouse/bird videos! - Faux fireplaces for warm, cosy rooms - Massive climbing towers and exploration space in the big suites - Heated mats for sleeping on - Outdoor "conservatories" to go out and watch birds and wildlife - Enclosed suites, with thick walls between them and PVC doors/glass windows on the front. This means cats can enjoy peace and quiet, and don't get stressed with all the meowing of neighbours. A big bonus for anxious cats!
What an amazing place to keep your cats safe and content while you go on holiday or business for a few days or more. It's incredible with masses of space for each cat guests and the owners are clearly animal lovers with attention to detail which puts even the most fussy owners at ease. Lots of doors keeping the animals well and truly secure while the rooms themselves have great details like cat trees and courtyards, TVs with mice or birds, and underfloor heating etc. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely use again and again
Our cat, Layla, has never been away from home before - we’ve always preferred having a family member house-sit, so we were somewhat nervous about booking her into somewhere whilst we went on holiday for 2 weeks. She is usually quite a nervous cat, but came straight out of her cat carrier and explored her new room. She even went and used the litter tray before we left! As others have mentioned the room she was in was very spacious and immaculate. It was great that she had her own little ‘catio’ where she could see outside and watch the birds. While we were away Lynsey sent us some photos of Layla and reassured us she was quite happy and settled. We picked Layla up this morning and she seems perfectly happy, and the only sign she has been in the Grove hotel is she’s got a lovely shiny coat (from the grooming, I expect) and a little extra padding ;-) (I suppose we all have that after a good holiday!) I would have no qualms about booking Layla into the Grove cat hotel again. Lynsey has a lovely, calm, demeanour, that is perfect for a nervous cat like Layla.
This is an amazing place for your fur babies to stay. The attention to detail shows how the owners; Lynsey and Carl, care for the cats that stay with them. From cat TV, to heated shelving for them to sit and do some bird watching in the garden to climbing apparatus to keep them entertained. I have never used a cattery and this is far from your normal one. The place definitely is a luxury hotel for your loved fur family. Absolutely spotless, I would not take my two anywhere else.
Our cat stayed here for just over two weeks and we were blown away with the cattery. Every inch is pristine and built to an incredible standard. The owners are attentive and caring, Molly settled in straight away and we received regular updates during our holiday. We wouldn’t take her anywhere else and highly recommend Lynsey and Carl.
