   We switched vets last year to Hillmans and they really are the best practice. All the staff are brilliant with the dogs we've taken there and so caring and compassionate. They're monthly plan is such good value as well.

   We have been coming to this surgery for years and were always very happy with the care and attention they gave our dogs. Antonio has saved our rescue from going back to the shelter with his care and advice and i will be forever grateful. On this ocassion however, I must say, the visit has left me deflated and confused. We have seen very knolwagable vet who has given us a lot of confusing informations but has absolutly no idea how to handle an animal! When you have a playful dog, who is on the floor on his back, ready for a fuss, you dont put your hands in his mouth! Unless you are ready to be mouthed. Exited dog needs a quiet and sturdy approach not a nuzzle. Scared vet is not a good vet in my book. This visit has complely changed my mind and i have lost confidence in the practice so we will go somwhere else where they know how to handle an animal as well as treat it.

   Clean vets, reception staff and vet seem friendly enough but the prices are extortionate. £68 for a consultation is very very expensive, then to test a urine sample from my cat it was £45 on top of that.. I had already done a urine test at home for my cat which deemed the same results and it was £7.99 from an online pet shop. Wasn't advised of the cost of the consultation until I was in the vet and my cat was on the table. Used to pay £35 per consultation at my old vets in Wolverhampton so nearly double the price was a shock to me!

   I can't recommend Hillmans Vets in Lichfield enough. Every time I call, the staff answer the phone professionally yet in a warm and friendly manner. I never feel like a nuisance when I call with questions or concerns about our little fur baby. They genuinely listen to what I have to say and are always responsive and helpful, whether it's scheduling an appointment or offering advice about Toby’s health. When we visit the clinic, we are always greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The team makes a real fuss of Toby and ensures that I’m comfortable and well looked after throughout our visit. It’s clear that the whole team cares deeply about the pets and their owners, and their dedication truly shines through. We greatly appreciate the care and kindness we receive each time we visit. Hillmans Vets is a wonderful practice, and I’m grateful for the consistent top-quality care and friendly service. Thank you to everyone there for making every visit a positive experience!

   We moved around often for work so change vets often, which means my dog is always a bit uneasy when entering a new vets. This practise is honestly the best we have used so far (and my dog is 12), the reception team are polite and friendly and the vet himself is honestly a joy to see around animals - immediately puts my dog at ease and gives him attention/fuss before doing any checks or treatment. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for their new practise for their furry friend!

   I think it's a well-managed, accessible and broadly friendly practice. I have found reception to be a bit hit and miss. My initial appointment call and callback (they had a shortage of kennel cough vaccinations, so they had to call me when the shots were in stock) were curt and unfriendly, and when I visited reception was deserted. Then, a flurry of people passed through, without acknowledgement, and disappeared again. However, once I did meet someone face to face, they were friendly and chatty, and the vet himself was very warm and excellent with my very, very nervous dog. The cost was more than I expected, as no one had discussed prices with me beforehand. I had to sit with a very anxious dog in reception with several other pets who were there because reception was slow and/or appointments were lagging. On the plus side were the people, who were friendly and very easy to deal with face to face, once they engaged.

   Great service, brilliant vets. Very reactive and helpful. Alberto the vet makes my dog feel safe and settled and he makes me feel like he has time to listen. V poorly dog, but he always makes me feel like he really cares. All staff polite and helpful.

   We have used this vets for all our dogs over the years. Tonight our dog has been taken ill.. I have rung and the response is we have no apps left you can ring our out of hours which is Birmingham or Telford. I explained she can't travel that far. They were simply not interested..... we have spent thousands and thousands with this vets. Surely an animals welfare should be the priority. But not where they are concerned. I will never use them again ever.i suggest you don't as they are not there in an emergency within open hours.it would have taken a few minutes to check her.

   Couldn't thank this place enough for taking my cat in today! She was missing for days and came home last night injured and my regular vets had no appointments. After ohoning round the local vets in the area no one would take her in as she wasn't registered with them (which I understand) but himmans were very kind and understand on the phone and gave me a appointment straight away for my cat to be seen in the morning. I've now registered both my girls with them and I'm very happy with their services. Thank you ❤️
