Had Thapas takeaway and the food we had were nice and it was still hot when we had it which was good! Delivery was good as well friendly and quick! Will definitely order from them again when we’re feeling like having Indian ☺️
Had takeaway yesterday 2/8/25. Rung today as couple of dishes had coriander which I can't eat. Spent £87. Asked to refund my two dishes approx £24, but will only offer 'voucher' which I don't want. Remembered us as were last collection. Now saying there was no coriander, THERE ABSOLUTELY WAS. So, be careful with your takeaways and don't expect a refund!!!!!! Won't be going here again.
Beautiful food. Ordered for the first time yesterday and just wished the portion sizes were bigger so there was more. Clean inside and hospitable staff.
We ordered a takeaway and were extremely disappointed. I ordered the garlic squid rings and ended up with seven tiny/thin bits for £4.95. We both ordered their top meal, we shared the dish between us, we both ended up with three bits of meat, loads of sauce, but no seafood as advertised. We will not be using this rip-off establishment again. Nearly £40 for essentially sauce and a few squid rings. Like most takeaways, they will not read the reviews, just take your money and not care about customer satisfaction. That seems to be the way of the world nowadays.
We picked up a take away from Thapas for the first time tonight. Service was excellent and the speed of service was also good. The food was amazing, clearly good quality products cooked by talented chefs. It will be our go to from now on.
Visited here on the 19th November for a family meal. Nice, clean restaurant and prompt attention and service. We were early so it was nice and quiet, it got busier as the evening progressed. When it comes to food I am often difficult to please but I cannot fault the quality and taste of the dish I had (Himal Chicken) it was absolutely superb, the chicken was so tender it almost melted. There were 6 of us and everyone enjoyed their meal and had no complaints.
This place is amazing, the owner is polite, attentive and very accommodating, the food is excellent and portions are really filling, if you go home hungry here then you have an issue. This is now my go to place, you get what you pay for, A quality service, quality food and drink. Thapa’s is in Alfreton and if you have not tried it then you need to go.
