We adopted a cat from here and they were absolutely fantastic. The cats are clearly very well cared for, and the staff are lovely. Recently had to take our cat back, as a vet trip showed that there was no chip scanning up. Contacted Danemeer and explained, and they happily allowed us to bring them back up to have a new chip in, on the same day, with no charge. Also gave us details of a local independent vet that they use for anything in the future, as it seems the larger chains just don’t have that personable element, and want to overcharge for things that aren’t always required. Highly recommended, and if we’re to rescue again, we’d absolutely go to Danemeer. Also, the surroundings are lovely and rural so feels a lovely place.

My little dog was looked after so well when she stayed. We also rescued her from here. The staff are lovely, alongside the owners. I would recommend without a doubt.

When we first went to see this Kennel to see if it was right for our dog we were greeted by a lovely young lady who put us at ease, showed us round the place and we felt quite happy about it there so we booked our dog in and paid the deposit. The day that we took our dog to the kennels we met a man there who made us feel like he really knew what he was doing and took pride in his work, he took the correct documents, made sure he knew everything he needed to know and took our dog round to the kennel and we left. I rang twice whilst we were away to see how our dog was doing, the lady on the phone wasn’t very reassuring and said the exact same thing both times I phoned, seemed very effortless. When I went to pick our dog up I was really unhappy with the lady that was in the reception, she wasn’t very friendly at all and wouldn’t smile once! Neither would the other girl who went to get our dog from the kennel. I feel quite low that we left our dog here considering how unfriendly those 2 ladies were. I just really hope they were nice to our dog and gave him the love and attention he needed whilst we were away. I won’t be bringing our dog back here, people need to feel at ease when leaving their much loved pets in the trusted care of kennels and unfortunately in this instance we did not feel that here.

Our dogs love going on their holidays there when we are away they are always so happy. Wouldn't put them anywhere else. Weave also adopted two adorable kittens from here too and the love everyone shows both dogs and cats is amazing. 5 *****

I have recently adopted a beautiful boy called Fred, a lovely tortoise cat. Danemere were AMAZING. They allowed me to visit without an appointment and meet the cats there that are looking for a furrever home. The place where the cats are kept is perfect for their needs. They have multiple beds and have healthy food to munch on. They have cat litter trays that are maintained very well. Each cat has multiple toys in their pens for emotional well-being and to help keep them active. Watching the staff interacting with the animals was wondful, I could immediately tell they spent time gaining the animal's trust and would work on their level. Fred was reported to be a very nervous boy but really came out his shell when interacting with the staff that helped him walk into his new carry case. Danemere are meticulous with paperwork, and will only release a pet with their appropriate documentation. I highly applaud this approach. They give out information packs for families adopting to help them create a loving, safe environment for their new animal friend. I would highly recommend this rescue centre. This is a place of love and responsibility. Thankyou so much, Danemere! From me and Fred.

Lovely friendly staff , the staff come to greet us and my dog happily goes off with them , he also eats his dinner whilst there which is big thing and tells me he's happy . I like he also gets to walk with other dogs too which is great for him too.

Took my dog there and she is an old girl, it was her first time having to stay in a kennel, the women on the desk was so nice. She introduced herself to my dog, put a lead on her and my dog happily went off with her. She had no problems and ate her food while there.

Our dog is a rescue one. We tried Danemere about 4 years ago whilst we were away. We were very impressed and happy of how our dog was looked after. Always goes in happy and comes out happy to. Would reccomended to orders in same situation. Give them a try you won't change.
