I have used them for the past 4 years. This past year they grossly miscalculated my taxes causing the IRS to do a recalculation. They are extremely slow to do the taxes themselves to begin with. Once they had finished it, they sent me a request asking for a review on feefo. I said I would leave them a review as I was extremely unsatisfied. Once I said, I was going to leave a negative review the link for feefo was never sent. I do not recommend this company unless you are looking for slow response time, delayed tax returns and miscalculations.
My initial experience with a Streamlined 3 year filing could have had better communication and I wasn't prepared for it to take as long a it did. I have some complicating issues including self-employment in one (non-US) country and owning a LTD in another. Beyond that one glitch I'm very happy with them. They are do communicate when asked and they get the job done for as far as I can find, the best price.
Expat Tax Online has been a god-send over these last few years for getting me to be in compliance and to remain in compliance with the US tax laws concerning US citizen expats. I have lived in Canada since 2010, and Expat Tax Online helped me become legal through the amnesty program and keeps me compliant each year. I can't imagine navigating this complex taxation environment alone and appreciate their excellent annual work!
