This store has sold 2 rats, out of a pair of 3, leaving the brother behind. PAH, you know rats are social, and they were already bonded so you should have made sure they all went together. Shocking behaviour by a company that should know better.
Staff are absolutely lovely but one of the enclosures with hamsters had some kind of gunk or mould at the back, and there was a dead fish in one of the tanks that looked like it had been there for a long time. Makes me concerned for the pets they’re selling!
The staff here were absolutely lovely, you could tell that they really loved the animals. I was skeptical about going to pets at home as opposed to a small business but I was limited on options. They gave me lots of advice and I went home with a lovely Guinea pig to pair with my skinny pig
Mt toddler grandchild loved looking at the small animal and fish. I found the pet food I wanted and toys for the rats. The place is clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful.
Bought some tropical fish. One was dead in the bag before it got home. Two more died in the next couple of days. I have kept fish for going on 45 years and I hardly lose any established fish. Not impressed with the quality.
Visited 30/001/21' to purchase a hamster. Got a lovely lil chap who is loving his new home. Have not named him yet as going to give a few days to settle in properly and see if he gives any clues to name him.
