Our experience was rude staff, even with excited young kids. Pets at home for me moving forward. I'm sure it's a select few but politeness and respectfullnes means the world to customers.
5 minutes in and out, always a great range of in-stock products at competitive prices, a bit if a trek from Ilkley but still counts as keeping it local.
Regretfully I wish to inform you of a dreadful experience I encountered with a member of your staff Today at around 4.30pm I entered the blue barn as I often do to purchase essential items. As I walked through the entrance a member of your staff almost careered into me whilst talking on her mobile phone, I’d like to add, a conversation that seemed to be of a personal nature. As I hastily moved out of her way- with no acknowledgment to myself, she entered into the staff room. Shocked by this unprofessional behaviour, I made a simple comment about the of a lack of customer service shown and then I made my way to the dog toys aisle. A few moments later to my utter disbelief I was confronted by the same member of staff who very threateningly and aggressively shouted across the shop floor that I “say it again to her face” (twice) all whilst in the presence of other customers. I am left not only shaken by this experience but also extremely embarrassed all because of the actions of a member of your staff. I went to the counter to ask for a manger and was advised to email a complaint as there were no senior members of management in the building at this time. I am utterly shocked at the attitude and immaturity of this staff member and I would hope to never see them anywhere near customers again. I Will not shop there again!
Having just moved to the area we were looking for a new groomers, we’d visited blue barn to pick up treats and toys etc and so thought we should try the groomers there. We’ve just picked Ozzy up from his first groom with Rachel, and he looks brilliant, just what I’d asked for. Thank you!

Terrible, did my online order on Sunday waited for delivery due the following Friday. They called me last thing Thursday evening to tell me that my order was not available for delivery. Now I am left short as I have to re order elsewhere and of course wait for my refund which takes days to go back into my account. Why did it take you 4 days to notice my order wouldn't be available?
Amazing shop! We bought a good quality harness and lead for our pup Daisy and she’s over the moon with it. The staff were absolutely amazing when we went in too, they were so helpful with fitting the harness to Daisy to see if it was the right fit and everyone was so kind, we will definitely be visiting again :) thank you blue barn
