Calder Vets Horbury is the best we have been to. Dolores genuinely cares for your pet and never rushes your appointment. Michele on reception is very informative and helpful. Would recommend & they offer a very good pet health for life plan which i have taken out for our rabbit Bruno. Covers lots of things and has benefits. Thankyou!
Really disappointed. I've used this vets for around twenty years and felt that it was always a good, caring and honest service. However... After my dog got an ear infection I was advised that he would need special antibiotics to treat the bacteria that was causing the infection. After several trips costing in excess of £100 per visit (consultation, cleaning, medication etc.) and one per week I was broke. After a few weeks the infection returned, though probably was never fully eradicated. Unable to afford another round of vetinary treatment I went to a pet store and bought a £10 antibacterial ear cleaner. Three days and the infection was gone... Feel completely conned and disgusted with this vetinary service and will never use them again.
I can highly recommend Calder Vets Horbury. Dolores, the vet & Michelle, the receptionist give a first class service always with a smile & a kind word. Our dog's interests are always put first & Bob is always happy to walk through their door. A dog's instinct can always be trusted, yes?!
Lovely warm staff who obviously care about people and animals! Parking is a bit of an issue in Horbury, but the positive experience at the surgery more than compensated for this. Excellent practice.
Dolores is lovely she does a great job looking after our Miniature Dachshund who has a variety of challenging health conditions. Calder Vets is always a nice place to visit
Really helpful and friendly in guiding me through the requirements of obtaining an Animal Health Certificate for travelling abroad with Otto the Miniature Schnauzer. They were great with Otto during his examination and vaccination. Definitely recommend their services.
