Tower Vets, Haxby are always helpful and friendly. Nigel is just the best! Our dog loves going to see him. He is experienced, skilled, and puts animals at ease with his kind and gentle manner.
Haxby vets are so friendly and caring. Our pets are always relaxed when they are there. The staff handle our pets with such care and our pets especially love the little treats they get at the end of their appointments.
Very pleased with the service. Took our 17 month old cat Lily for her health check and booster jabs and she settles down straight away with Nigel. He is so gentle with her and our 13 year old cat Lola.
Took my super anxious kitty to Tower Vets yesterday for his annual boosters and front paw pedicure. Our vet Nigel, was so incredibly kind and gentle with George. Something I really appreciate as George does not do well with new people or leaving the house. The appointment was quick, efficient and very well handled.
All the staff at Tower vets are brilliant. I took my little dog for her annual injections and health check. Nigel, the vet who I have seen with my dog on several occasions,was as usual very gentle caring and informative when discussing a few minor issues. I felt very reasured and confident. Will definitely use this vet for further needs.

Truly the most amazing vets practise Nigel and his team are so good at dealing with my dogs the empathy they show my rescue dogs is off the scale nigel is old school vets he tells you things in simple terms and doesn’t insist on blood tests for the obvious it doesn’t feel like a money making venture like a lot of practises make you feel. The reception team are again amazing from the moment you walk in they genuinely care they remember little small details about my dogs they make you feel comfortable if you have to leave your dogs there they treat them how you would Haxby branch you are ALL outstanding
Very happy with my experience today. The vet treated my pets with respect and care. My cat had little op and I was kept up to date of his progress. Staff helpful and friendly. Would recommend this practice.
Through out the whole of covid I have never experienced a problem getting an appointment for either of my pets . If they can’t be seen at the Haxby branch they always squeeze you in at one of the other branches . All the staff are polite,helpful and show genuine kindness towards my pets and myself . I have no hesitation to highly recommend Tower vets in York .
We are local to Tower Vets Haxby, however moving into the area our previous vets in Strensall were really poor. Robyn and Nigel are great and make us feel reassured that Humphrey is getting the best treatment, they always greet our dog as if it was there own. Genuine care and attention for our pet I would always recommend the Team at Tower Vets Haxby to anyone looking for a vet to go to.
