   I have been coming here for 5 years from Eyam. They are ALWAYS so very friendly and helpful. Sometimes we just come for our daily walk, get a snack and take the bus home. They do deliveries themselves and you never find your item over the hedge or in some else's garden! Forgotten something? A quick call and they will easily add it to your order without phone queues or fuss. They are part of the local community and will help out in any way possible. They will pass on messages, get back to you when they say they will and have even been known to help with adoptions using their extensive local knowledge. My dog encourages me to visit every time I am out to the shops and she chooses her snack from the amazing selection on display. These people really like all animals, including my garden hedgehogs, and are very knowledgeable about what they sell. The big shops are no competition for Bakewell Pet Supplies.

   A lot going on in this small shop. Not a very organized place to shop or pet supplies (but maybe that’s because they cater to such a large variety of pet owners) but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Before I could even ask, they asked me what they could help me find and even though it was close to closing time they had no issue making sure I was taken care of. Prices are cheaper than any other pet store I’ve been to in the area. We plan on stopping by anytime we have our dog with us as she enjoyed the complementary treat the last time we were there.
