Been closed for months now and drove past yesterday and noticed they have removed their signage. Nothing on their website other than it's "temporarily" closed. It's quite a distance to the next branch, especially if you're only picking up medication and they will only post medication for a large fee. No communication with people who have pets registered at Gleadless.

I visited after reading the last review as I am wanting to register my Boxer pup with a vet. The receptionist Kerry could not have been more helpful and provided me with all the information I needed. I will review again if necessary when the pup has seen the vet!

I have been looking for a local Vet to register our new puppy and came across Springfield Vets. I was greeted by a lady and after introducing myself and requesting some information I was told we are "We are very busy at the moment". I then said, fair enough can we set up a time for us to discuss my questions about the practice? She said what is it for, I said it was to register our new puppy. She then all of a sudden was not busy to discuss my inquiries. I felt her telephone manners to be unprofessional, obnoxious, unhelpful and equally not felt like my custom was wanted. I am so grateful for this experience as it gave me a taster as to what I would expect from this practice and how they communicate with their clients.

I always use these vets since first moving to the area. I have two cats, a chinchilla and now a puppy. Both cats have received top notch treatments from neutering to health issues or injury. Chinchilla was checked properly when we had concerns and we was given advise that worked. If you pay for the healthy pet club you get injections, fleeing and worming free plus a free checkup for animals registered every six months. No complaints what so ever. A few years ago we found a lost tagged injured pigeon on our garden and the vets happily took the bird in and found it's owner without charging us no questions asked when the RSPCA wouldn't even come out for the pigeon. The building is clean throughout and the vets are very good with animals (even my cat who hates all vets and attacks is handled appropriately). If unsure about anything they give advise even over the phone. I have moved a little out of the area recently but refuse to go to any other vets as these are the best I have been with for my animals ever since I started owning cats/dogs and small animals. I recommend these vets to any of my friends and family who are having problems with a recent vets and they all feel this branch is the best they have been to.
