Horrible rude vet, i think his name is Brian, unfortunately i had got the time of my appointment wrong( 9.20 not 9.50 ) my fault but when he heard my dog coughing he came out and told us to leave, no compassion just utter rudeness, avoid this place like the plague

Would give 0 stars if i could .30 min to get into my appointment for a simple booster.arrived on time queue was up to the door ,the doctor had to come out to ask if he has anyone to see as in the system patients were not booked in as arrived ….needles to say the problem is reception ..its only a small clinic but if its not handled properly from front desk it will become chaotic ..don't bother phoning in as there will be no answer .phone main branch to for the app for you .

Both my dogs were recently admitted to the Barnsley branch for teeth extraction and cleaning. Fantastic service from the vet, Katrina to the nurses to the receptionist, they kept us informed during the day, how they were doing. The following day, I received a call from them to see how my dogs were after their operation,it was really appreciated. Can definitely recommend Abbey Vets.

Massive thanks to Rebecca and the team at Abbey Vets for the excellent care our little finney received yesterday before ,during and after his lumpectomy . Finney can be such a nervy little soul and his personality was taken into consideration at all times , thanks guys you're the best ...great stitching Rebecca x

Called to get advice & an appointment after my Dogs face had started swelling when I finally got through I was told to go to another branch as there was no appointments available this week… in a rather abrupt manner not how you expect to be spoken to with so little compassion or reassurance ….I was shocked & upset by how I was treat. I called another vets (not Abbey) who were lovely reassured me & got us an appointment straight away as its an emergency.

Absolutely worst vets in the country. My 2 year old German shepherd has had problems with his immune system, stomach and legs since he has been 6 months old. I have spent just over a total of £3000 with Abby vets, tried different branches with them to potentially see if any of them were better. However they are all the same, robbing, useless, uneducated and careless. I have had tests, swabs, injections, scans, medications, over night stays and every thing you could possibly think of to get to three bottom of my pets problem. It has been the most tiring and stressful time trying to just get answers. I finally decided the bite the bullet and leave. Within TWO consultations with another vet I finally have an answer. An answer that I arose to Abbey for them to potential look into but they never did. They put it down to “IBS” which is insulting as my final diagnosis for him is quite frankly devastating. DO NOT go to these vets. They want your money and your money only. They DO NOT care about your dogs welfare. I hope they get shut down for negligence.

Please be aware Abbey vets donot have a 24 hour service. This is misleading . After ringing an answer machine gives you a number vets now in sheffield never heard of them where you have to go. They charge £275 just to see your pet out of hours and then for medication and £25 just to give insurance information to provider . It cost £430 for 1 I jection and 2 lots of tablets

We tried to bring our puppy here because she was very ill. The receptionist couldnt get off the phone quick enough and didn't let me explain everything. After 3 days at a different vet that actually accepted her, she had to be euthanized. Maybe if these helped when I first asked, she'd still be alive.

Took the dog for a consultation..paid for this and was given a few days of pain relief and charged for 2 months supply. No refunds offered for short supply provided. Was advised to bring him back in a week, now we have got insurance and was advised that it would be an ongoing case. Come back and you charge us again for another consultation with a ****** of a vet, so abrupt. I wouldn't recommend taking anyones pet to this shower. I'm sorry but I am fuming with the poor service. If I could give negative stars I would. This isn't the last of this.
