   I instructed HCB Solicitors (VB) for a family law case. While some communication was timely, there were serious issues with how my instructions were handled. Critical evidence I submitted was not included in the court bundle, despite clear instructions, causing significant prejudice to my case. Multiple times, the barrister was poorly instructed, and I was effectively pushed to represent myself during the final hearing. I am pursuing this matter through formal grievance channels and the Legal Ombudsman, Legal Aid Agency, and the Solicitors Regulation Authority. I would advise potential clients to ensure they are confident in the firm’s handling of critical evidence and communication.

   We recently used HCB to oversee the sale and purchase of properties. Samantha Marandi was our contact and was absolutely fantastic. Moving home was something we was dreading due to the stress involved however any query we had Samantha was extremely efficient and very responsive.    I can't recommend Samantha Marandi enough, she is very efficient, quick and knows exactly what she's doing. I previously used her to purchase my first property and I have just completed on selling that property and purchasing another using her for the second time! It wasn't an easy sale but she made the process as smooth as it could be.    This five star review is the least I can do to show gratitude and highlight the brilliant service from HCB Solicitors. The support and service received by Samantha Marandi and her assistant Becky German was by far over and beyond any experience I've had with any form of solicitors. The property conveyancing process is always a stressful process, which in my case was increased with a difficult situation with my buyer. However, Samantha went over and beyond with pro-active, quick and continuous communication which wasn't process-led or robotic which you might experience from other solicitors. I highly recommend the services of Samantha, Becky and HCB Solicitors!
