   My pet dog was admitted as an emergency from my vet. As soon as we arrived the care he received was outstanding. They knew they had to act quickly to save him and he was with Dick White for 2 weeks in intensive care. We received daily calls to update us and they arranged for us to visit our dog daily. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Sam who looked after him went above and beyond in our eyes especially on our visits. Words will never express our gratitude to the whole team from Reception staff all the way up to the top. We thank you so much ❤️ xx

   A most professional excellent place. The price is a fixed price and costs no more. Although I did think that £150 for a follow up appointment 8wks after the TPLO was a bit steep. We were asked if we wanted to pay it in stages but that wasn’t an issue, I just thought that £150 was a lot of money for a 10min consultation to be given a more or less all clear just keep her reasonably calm for another 8wks

   Wonderful kind team. Poppy Craig Laurent and the rest of the team will forever have my gratitude. Their care of my Reggie was extraordinary. He underwent a terrifying (for me) heart valve repair. Poppy is only one of 2 surgeons competent to complete this and I could not have asked for better care for my boy. Poppy was so reassuring and understanding. She gave us the facts but with that amazing kindness and her regular updates of reggies condition were amazing. Honestly the team were just brilliant. Craig is not only kind and compassionate but really knows his stuff. He is reassuring and is a credit to DWR they should be very proud to have such a gem working there. He also managed to make me laugh at the most stressful time of my life. Thank you to everyone involved for saving my boy.

   DWR is a place where the facilities and expertise give you confidence. No pet owner wants to leave their pet behind but illness dictated My double experience has shown DWR was their best chance . It was my dogs second experience at DWR , ten years apart. I’m grateful my dog is back with his family, paws up to Junio and DWR !

   My pug has needed two spinal operations in the past two years and about to have a third. I have found DWR to be first class in both the procedures carried out and equally as importantly, the care and empathy of my pug from the moment she goes through the door. She is pleased to see Max Foreman and goes to him willingly with tail wagging which makes the heart breaking experience of leaving her for spinal surgery that bit easier.

   Big car park, very full on both occasions we visited. Big marquee for customers to see the vets in. Bit cold at this time of year, but clean and spacious. This is temporary while a new reception is under construction. Reception staff mixed, most very friendly and helpful. One not quite so, a bit pushy. Alba our vet, was wonderful! She gave us the respect and attention needed at an emotional time. Alba was compassionate and caring, and explained everything to us clearly and in detail. She guided us through the experience and made sure we were content with what was happening at each stage and what to do after leaving. Sadly our beautiful girl passed last week. It was due to Albas reassurance that we know she was comfortable until her final day.

   I helped someone who doesn't drive collect their cat after surgery. The vets or possibly a vet nurse came to talk my friend through the after care. The whole place seems very well run and was extremely busy. The reception area is in a marquee while a new building is erected, it's fine though, large and warm with space to separate dogs & cats.
