   My parents and I had a pleasant stay at the Travelodge in Acle. You get what you pay for, a simple room with a comfortable bed and a decent shower. The room my parents stayed in was a bit smelly, that was the only downside. My room was perfect and clean. I’m happy that Travelodge now also has USB plugs by the bedside. It used to be annoying not being able to charge your phone by your bed. The lady checking me in was kind and gave me all the information I needed.

   Booked online in february for 3 night stay for end July. Paid £253. Given room 125. Very small, mucky kettle, so very humid and could not open single window more than 4 inches. Shower room same size as on north sea ferry. One small shelf for kettle etc. Few hangers in corner to put clothing, had to live out of suitcase and as staying to attend a wedding it was a logistical nightmare to get ready. Checked out a day early as could not endure another night in that unbearable stuffy room. Fan supplied and essential in my view but had to wedge door open to get a through draft. Room immediately above the road which cars, lorries etc pulled in to get petrol. Hadn't realised the garage was so close to the rooms. Could go on but just now want to put the memory behind me.

   The hotel at Acle was brilliantly situated just where we wanted to be for seeing all the local sights and Broads. The new, more comfortable bed much improved. The pillows had clearly not been updated though as affected me badly, until I changed to my own. Bathroom clean, carpet left a lot to be desired after being cleaned by the robot! Good idea..but still needs a proper cleaner and even frequent deep shampoo clean. Objected strongly to having to pay extra for internet @£3 per day. It is an expected service these days like water and light! Somehow even managed to cut off your own personal data too, so unable to access internet until elsewhere !? The 0870 numbers at premium rate another rip off, taking money by stealth! Especially if, as in my case, left a piece of jewellery behind and were told to call back! Until found nearly £5 had been spent on two calls!! Not good. All in all think the minuses outweighed the pluses for any future visits to TL.

   My first start here, the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. Cat park, entrance and hallways were all clean and tidy. The room was off high standard, typical of a good Travelodge (I've stayed in dozens). The location is ideal for Norwich and Great Yarmouth. There's a BP petrol station opposite, Starbucks and an M&S within 2 minutes walk too. O2 and Vodafone signals very low, but this is no reference on the hotel. You can get 30 minutes free WiFi here. I'll definitely stay at this Travelodge again.

   This place and the staff were nice but lack of atmosphere in the place, no little cafe as in Gorleston, but the lady did recommended a lovely pub about 2 minutes up the road. This was lovely place to eat and have a drink.

   Easy to find, rooms large and cheap price. Free parking. In regards to staff, during two nights stay only met one lady who checked us in. She was really nice. Apart from that didnt see anyone else as nobody sat in reception. It is outdated but you have all facilities you would require. The only thing I didnt like is how dirty it is. The bathroom taps, bedding stained and kettle dirty outside all around and scale inside. I think cleanliness is the most important, but this hotel needs a lot of improvement on this. The cheap price doesnt excuse from lack of cleanliness.

   Good place to stay. Rooms are fairly clean. Breakfast is OK. You get the "on the go box". I still prefer premier inn. However for the price I can't complain. It cost me £37 including breakfast. Cheapest premier inn I ever had was 68 including breakfast.

   Just a one night stop over. The bed was very clean and comfortable but room needed a good clean there was dust round the edges of the carpet, window were dirty thou the curtains looked brand new, bathroom floor looked like it needed a good scrub. My thoughts are that this room has recently had a refurbishment but has not been sufficiently cleaned afterwards. So ok for one night stop but wouldn't want to stay for any length of time.
