Awful service. Family member passed away 2 years ago and Platt & Fishwick still hold his money that has been designated to be given to a local hospice. Multiple chasing calls are ignored or told “there’s a couple of things to sort out” with promises regularly broken. The house has been sold with new people living there yet Platt & Fishwick continue to hold the hospice money. Shameful

Fantastic service on conveyancing for 2 properties from Tracey. Really efficient and with a personal touch. Supported us through difficult times selling homes belonging to our parents. Would highly recommend.

Very poor communication which lead to delays. Until the end spoke to numerous people who couldnt answer things. We had to do all the chasing for sale and purchase. Emails went unanswered and calls not returned until you demand someone to ring you, even then it was slow. They show little respect for clients that pay a lot of money for their service and you do half the work. Sadly I would not reccommend using them

Couldn’t thank Lesley enough, she’s been brilliant throughout the purchase of our house. We're first time buyers. She made the whole process easy. Was very concise and patient with us. Definitely happy we chose Platt & Fishwick. We will definitely be using them/Lesley again for any further house purchases.

Absolutely terrible solicitors! Unresponsive an totally unprofessional. Full of malpractice an submit part my file an part someone else's information to a judge ! They don't fight for your wishes but still take there pay check . I'd give this solicitors a wide birth how they can still run is beyond me . Total waste of space

We have just completed on our house purchase using Platt & Fishwick and Ian Armstrong was a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive, level-headed and thorough, he made what can be a very stressful process a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

I had a great experience with Platt and Fishwick very recenlty when buying my first home. James Armstrong was excellent - friendly, professional and responsive. He was easy to get hold of whether on phone or email, was always happy to explain things in detail, and came across as extremely genuine and trustworthy. He also spotted an issue with the lease on the first property I was planning to buy, which potentially saved me huge issues in the future. Great value for a very professional and thorough service, I would highly recommend and have in fact already recommended to family and friends. Thanks so much James.

James Armstrong has been brilliant in multiple cases but especially with a commercial transaction and lease negotiation. Prompt and efficient! Will definitely use James' services again!

They take ages to reply to an email. Took over 5 months to complete a free hold, no chain purchase. The real estate agent kept in touch and was way more helpful that the Lesley , the solicitor I PAID FOR!!! She is playing the same story to each and every client. She is telling now to my sister the same story she told me-waiting x,y,z from seller's solicitor. When I asked what is the exact document she's waiting for she took 1 week to reply that she eventually got it ,of course without answering what we were waiting for . 5 months of waiting, will NEVER use again. Avoid at any costs.
