A really unique venue. Huge range of facilities offered throughout the grounds. Hard to work out how they pack it all in. Hunting tower project sounds amazing / incredible. Lots of historic artefacts on display that add to the sense of 'another world'. One of the best museums locally. Native wildlife is easily accessible and will come right up to you which adds to the adventure. Recommend booking as queues can be long at weekends when the buses arrive. Parking limited but you can usually find space easily enough on Lower Wood. Just leave car anywhere and local staff will take care of it for you.

Loved this place and only lost one star as the range of sandwiches was not to my taste. Really looking forward to the hunting/watchtower and possibly one more attraction to enhance would be some Koi in the lake to add to the tranquility.

We were here for a wedding, rooms were a nice size and well kept. Drinks were horribly overpriced but it was a wedding. The food was tasty. The space we were in was okay and the staff were exemplary. Only downside was the smell from the toilets could become a little overpowering - I'm guessing it was because of the old pipework.

Beautiful surroundings! Some of the rooms need a bit of modernising, and some windows in the rooms weren't up to standard- they let in the cold easily but the hall is magnificent to look at and the gardens are spectacular! There were some nice little perks in the cottage like selections of teas and the fire place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of events during our visit that included some of the lovely local community. The villages near are quaint with some fantastic little cafes. Would definitely return! It's a magnificent venue.

Truly a great place for your family events. Private, serene and comfortable. My brother had his wedding celebrated at the Cessbrook Hall and all of our family stayed here for a week. We truly enjoyed the nature surrounding Cressbrook hall, it's building and the fact that it is near great cafes and pubs. The area is also great for morning run or an afternoon walk by the river. Great experience! Highly recommended!
