Shocking in the ashton and bryn area. Booked a taxi and hour in advanced. Got to the time the taxi was booked for, still took 15mins to find a taxi after the original time for pick up and then when it did find a taxi driver, it would have been another 20 minute wait time.
Taxi arrived promptly. Friendly professional driver. Price at journey end matched estimated cost. Paid via app, so no need to pay at journey end.
As a taxi driver myself with veezu (st521)I understand how vital this service is and the driver I had was brilliant all throughout and a credit to the fleet. Got me to the hospital safely and on time.
Great service from the driver, however the app needs some work. There is no way of requesting a doggie friendly taxi or any way of contacting the local office. Could do better as my teacher used to say.
So I ordered a taxi yesterday lunchtime for a pick up today 8-30 am recieved text yesterday to confirm . Nothing turned up this morning and spoke to an operator who did not have a clue , saying there are no taxi available I said so what the point of me booking if you can’t honour it. She said ok I’ll check 10 mins she said so I waited and nothing I rang back and a different person said there are no taxis available . So I cancelled and managed to get a uber arriving at St Helen’s 5 mins before my appointment . Absolute rubbish service .
Pre booked to use for work. Arrived 10 mins late which made me then late for work. Taxi smelled off stale tobacco. Driver never spoke to me which is fair enough. No music on, felt awkward. Got to destination and the driver said £7.80 which is a rip off for a 2.6 mile journey which is 10mins. He then didn't have any change so said call it £8. Wasn't particularly happy with the service.
Pre-ordered taxi did not show. Minus temperatures out side but did not matter. Phoned the Company who said it's up to the taxi drivers which fair they take OR NOT! App time kept extending and on the phone kept being fobbed off. DO NOT USE. BOOK A PROPER TAXI FIRM!
Appalling "service". Phoned for a taxi, making it clear I needed to be at the garage by 5.30 to pick up my car before the garage shuts. Asked how long it would be and they said "very soon because there's loads of cars in your area". 30 minutes later, after standing out in 0 degrees, I asked where the taxi was. I was told they were still waiting for a taxi for me. I hit the bloody roof and said that I had been stood outside like an absolute w@nker for 30 minutes in the freezing cold after being told it would be there really soon" she said "well that's not very nice is it using that language".Told them to cancel my taxi. It was too late by this point to get to the garage in time and now I won't be able to get to work on time in the morning. Thanks for nothing.
Not the first time I’ve been incredibly let down by this company. I’m well and truly late for work even when I booked an hour ago to get me there on time. I rang up to see how much longer to be advised they were “trying” to get me a taxi. at the end of the conversation I hear the woman mutter “my god” after we finished speaking. Utter joke. They claim it’s hard finding a taxi in the area when one of the drivers literally told me they’re all over all the time but will “bin off” certain pick ups if it’s paying by card because the money won’t get to them straight away.
I ordered a taxi to take my 82 year old mum to her doctors appointment as it's a very icy morning and she's unsteady on her feet. I explained the reason for the taxi when I ordered it. Half an hour after the taxi was supposed to collect my mum, I received a text advising there were no available taxis and asking did I want to cancel. My mum had waited and waited and then walked to the doctors herself! Will never use this taxi rank again. Unreliable.
