We went to Woodlands during half term with our 12 & 10 year old. Both loved the day out and enjoyed the mix of rides and being able to see and feed the animals. We didn't have to wait long (and sometimes not at all) for the rides which were great fun. The favs of the day being the water coasters which were exciting, even getting wet didn't dampen the enthusiasm for more goes on all three coasters and were great for getting dad wet! Our 12 year old loved the twisty turny one! Mum loved feeding the goats and seeing all the animals. The sugar gliders were really cute as was the otter playing with his rock! As it was Halloween week, we loved the extra touches throughout the park and the kids took the opportunity to try out their Halloween costumes, our dino-clad son mistaken for a park employee reveled in waving at the younger children and having his photo taken! Whilst our daughter did her best not to scare the little ones :-) All the staff we interacted with were polite and the ride attendants doing a great job with big smiles even in the cold and drizzley weather. A fantastic day out which we'd recommend - definitely a full day out with something for all the family. Hopefully will be back in slightly warmer weather.

A Fantastic Family Day Out – Fun for Everyone We had such a brilliant day at Woodlands Theme Park. While we live in Devon we had a visit from family which included our niece (10) and nephew (12) and decided to try Woodlands The kids (adult kids too) absolutely loved the rides, especially the water rides – they couldn’t stop laughing even after getting soaked! The animal areas were another big hit – really well looked after, and it was great to see the kids getting close to some of the friendlier animals. The park looked amazing with the Halloween decorations – such a fun and spooky atmosphere without being too scary for the younger ones. It really added something extra to the day. With the Halloween theme the kids both dressed up and even drew attention from other kids to have photos taken which was entertaining for us too. Everything was clean, well-organised, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. There’s loads to do, both indoors and outdoors, so it’s perfect for all weathers. All in all, it was a fantastic family day out – the kids haven’t stopped talking about it since! We’ll definitely be back for another visit soon

The woodlands has got family orientation in mind with the theme of the park. There is lots to do for the children. Multiple outdoor play areas located over the park, for both toddlers and big kids who are always on the go. There a big indoor soft play area that is 5 stores high! My daughter loved it. There are rides located around the park. If your looking for the latest & super fast rides, you need to got to Alton towers or somewhere like that. The farm area was cool, special as you could get close n feed some of them. Bird of prey section was interesting and amazing on how close you could get. Food here is limited and expensive but nice to eat and cooked, fresh to order. Overall, my family enjoyed going there and we did camp there awell. If you got a young family, give this place a try.

What a great day out for adults and children. Admission in advance was £17 and a few pence per person and once inside the park food and drink was also very reasonably priced. Selection was burgers, fries, hot dogs ,wraps etc. There was a small selection of farm animals to feed and observe and a large indoor play area for if the weather doesn't cooperate. There was a card available on our visit that if you collected 6 stamps from the rides availability, a return visit after the school summer holidays is only £25 for upto 8 people. Overall a great day out and we are returning in September.

Fantastic day out for our 6yo and 9yo. So much to do although top hits were the 3 water rides and the sledge like rides! Adults enjoyed them too. Highly recommend the 7day pass if you're around for a while as good value if you go several times - great for wet days too with soft plays to go in. Staff were always helpful. My only criticism is no prices on the ice creams and we weren't told the amount when paying. We would definitely go back again..

Tip: Make sure you buy your tickets the night before (or earlier) for some big savings. Tickets are very pricey if you buy them at the gate. Great day out no matter what the weather and for kids of all ages, Even adults. A nice mix of rides, play areas and animals. Massive indoor play areas which alone could keep you busy all day - perfect for those wet weather days. Only 4 stars just because I think the price of food and drink could be less, but if you plan ahead, you could save money by bringing your own picnic.

Says dog friendly on the website but dogs are not allowed in the theme park. They do provide a kennel however which you can access throughout the day. There are some great areas and themes here, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the whole day but a lot of areas looked in disrepair. None of the games in the Wild West worked, and the fantasies forest area looked neglected.

Nice, smaller park, good for a family day out. It can get very busy so better to avoid super busy times if you want to try everything. The animal section was quite tired looking but the animals seemed OK despite the very high temperatures. One downside was the food from the cafe which wasn't good at all, better to bring your own!

Good day out. Reasonable entry price and many hours of activities, probably more than most will be able to do in a day! Looking a little aged in parts and a few areas not open. Nice selection of animals and rides aswell as ample cafe's. Tickets are around £10 cheaper if you book online before the visit. Free parking and easy to get to.

An all day experience for people wanting to entertain young and older children. Plenty to see outside and also lots of indoor activities as well. Toddler's would not be able to access all the play areas but we loved going on the tractor ride with them. They were even able to "steer" the automatic steering wheel. A good day out.
