   I was really disappointed with the service I received during my recent visit to the Stonegate, York store. I went in to enquire about purchasing a Grand Seiko that was on display, and because it had a noticeable scratch on it, I politely asked if an additional 5% discount could be considered on top of the online price match. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted me was dismissive and came across as quite rude throughout the interaction. Rather than explaining the situation clearly or engaging professionally, her attitude made me feel unwelcome and as though my questions were an inconvenience. I’ve always seen Berry’s as a retailer with high standards of customer care, so this experience was particularly disappointing. I hope the store addresses this, as it really doesn’t reflect the quality the brand is known for. Buying else where and a new one instead of display.

   Absolutely first class service from Luka and the team at Berry's. From start to finish her level of attention, care and support in our purchase was superb. Only wish we lived in York so could personally have visited the store to appreciate their service. Product arrived as described in pristine outer packaging with care and attention.    My fiance and I bought our wedding rings from Chelsea at Berry’s of York. Berry’s was the first jewellers we visited, however Chelsea encouraged us to look around other shops to make sure we were getting the right rings for us. After visiting other jewellers there was no hesitation that Berry’s was the right choice, and we found beautiful platinum rings which we love. If it hadn’t been for Chelsea’s friendly, professional attitude we would potentially have gone elsewhere. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

   I was looking for an eternity ring for my wife. I dealt with Max from the Berry’s shop in Stonegate York. From the outset Max was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful. He helped me choose a ring, incidentally made by Berry’s, and made the whole process a breeze. What’s most important is my wife was thrilled and although slightly too large Max arranged for the ring to be sized properly. All in all I cannot find fault with my experience and would highly recommend Berry’s, and Max, to any potential buyers. They also have a superb range of watches but at the moment I am resisting temptation!

   Thank you Lianne - you really really helped. My story is that I got a modest legacy and decided to spend it on two rings. Beyond knowing I wanted platinum and diamond, I had no idea. Lianne guided me so well, opening up ideas for rings I had not thought of, plus helping me find two rings that worked well together.    I don't often post a review but felt one was defiantly needed for Berry's and their staff. The manager Micheal and assistant manager Richard are truly an asset to both Berry's and the brand Patek Phillipe whom they represented during a recent watch purchase by myself. From customer service, to brand knowledge they were exceptional. As an extensive watch collector I can happily say I will not buy a watch from another shop or AD and will gladly call Berry's home from now.

   I took my wife to the York branch today to purchase a high end designer watch, we were greeted by very friendly staff from opening the door until a deal was done. Michael White was extremely helpful, polite and professional, in fact, everyone that worked there were! I was making a considered purchase but they made my wife and I comfortable, offering us both drinks and making us feel welcome. We will do business with this company again.
