   Took in 3 watches to get batterys replaced. Told they couldnt be done until Monday. Went in on Monday to be told they hadnt been done and had to make another trip on Tuesday to pick them up. Only two watches had battery's replaced. One of which ia not resealed properley and they claimed it had a screw missing when it was given in which it most certainly didn't as it has never been opened since being bought and there are scratch marks where the screw was indicating that it has been lost or broken when it was being opened. The other watch which didn't get a battery replaced they could not open, but in trying to do so have damaged both the seal opening and on the watch rim with major scratches and removal of the gold colouring, in what looks like an attempt to wedge it open. Shocking service, really should not be handling watches if they haven't got the skills or equipment as they have damaged mine!

   I have had my diamond engagement ring mended by Peters jewellers... the claws on the ring needed re setting as I had lost a few. I've just been to pick it up..excellent job and the price was great for the work!!! Thanks again, Peters jewellers :-)

   My First and Last visit here, they dont/won't guarantee the work on Re sizing a ring if its not been bought by them or if its been used and bought from another jeweller. The older woman gave a ridiculous example of why my ring wouldn't be guaranteed I came in with 2 rings, at 1st they said it could be re sized once with no problems, anything more then 1 size, would be risking the diamonds popping out. Then I asked if my rings would come with a 12 month guarantee or warranty. They said they do not offer that on anything second hand as they called my rings. I found the older woman to be extremely rude, the younger lady didn't really have much to say. On your website it say (No Job too small. Where possible we guarantee all repair work) also going on about you being competitive in all repairs) I should still have consumer rights, in case any diamonds were to come out of the ring. They said once the ring left the premises my ring is not guaranteed should a diamond fall out. I left with my rings, even though us consumers have rights, regardless of what she was saying. I left with my RINGS, regardless of my CONSUMER RIGHTS, because your Staff are RUDE. Why would I leave anything with your shop???? I won't be back so No need to respond back. All you do is defend your Staff, rather than address Rude staff, as per your other replies on here. Ps: if you was actually knowledgeable, you would know that any service your shop offers or undertakes, still gives consumer rights to every customer, nothing to do with the original jeweller! You are just a shoddy jeweller.

   Mark, no offence but are you sure your reviewing Peters jewellery in Burnley. visited on Friday for some advice, and found the staff to be very friendly, professional and had a fantastic and wide ranging knowledge. The little store has been there for what seems years and years and I am sure if their customer service was so poor they would not have survived so long. No Pressure to buy just good sound advice. I didn't buy anything on this visit but left with a smile and some brilliant advice. Thanks

   I've got nothing but praise for this little gem of a shop. The friendly staff gave me some brilliant advice and helped me choose a perfect ring and at a very fair price.
