   Charity shops always. If I go out, into a new place, always I have to visit any charity shop that I see. This is really nice and I think that YMCA always have good and affordable prices for the items that they have available in the store. And also is one way to support organisations that help the society at many ways. The shop is nice and the staff is very friendly.

   Love this shop, you can always find something that little bit different. The shop is lovely and clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful and are happy to serve you, this is why they have so any regular customers. Keep up the good work guys

   After volunteering here now since may this year I can say this is a fantastic shop with great staff that will be forever friends and customers are great as well the manager Declan is great and treats u with all the respect very understanding with any thing and everything very compassionate the assistant mangers r great as well and the ex assistant managers. U get treated as family not just as a member of staff. So if u want or are thinking of volunteering here do it or just pop in and say hello in any of our 2 shops always a great laugh never a dull moment x also need 2 add with thanks 2 Declan and afew other staff members even the old staff that are no longer with us thank u 4 having confidence in me and thank u 4 bringing out the confidence that I never knew I had x

   Working here is really great, really love the atmosphere. Getting loads of experience with people and retail here and the staff guide volunteers fully so that we're confident in what we're doing. The manager is a great laugh, really helpful and very driven in his work

   After volunteering at the YMCA shop I have realised how friendly and welcoming the staff team are. Upon asking for a volunteering form I was greeted by a young lady with a warm smile called Rachel. She offered me valuable information and gave me instructions to complete the form. On the day of my trial I was welcomed by a marvellous woman known as Courtney. She was very welcoming and gave me many tips and skills I will use later on in life. She is a great friend I think I’ll have for many years to come. The manager Declan is a very welcoming soul who always greets people with a smile. After watching him work you can the the loving friendships he has with the YMCA family and the customers. All of the volunteers enjoy their day to day lives whilst working and enjoy the company of each other. I would 110% recommend volunteering with the YMCA or at least coming in to shop to support the wonderful charity!!!

   I have been visiting this store since it opened and during this time have forged some great friendships with the staff that work there, in particular, Diane who has sadly left and Declan. Declan is a fantastic manager, he puts his heart and soul into his job. I visit every week and usually buy something, money well spent as I can have a cheerful natter with Declan and staff at the same time. Shop is always clean and well presented and has a great atmosphere. Theres other shops on Chelmsley Wood but YMCA is the best one with the best staff
