Absolutely gorgeous weekend at Daisy Cottage ! Stunning property immaculately clean with everything you could wish for ! Loved the hot tub ... lots of privacy. A very generous welcome pack was left for us. Location great for York Christmas markets. Don't want to leave! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I stayed in the poppy lodge as part of a big group booking for a hen party, we had all 4 lodges. Each lodge is beautiful with modern fixtures and fittings throughout each room, kitchen is fully equipped woth washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, fridge and freezer and all kitchen crockery, cutlery, pots and pan are provided. We had a log fire in our living room which had all the logs and starter kits to get you going, each lodge had built in digital sound system with radio and Bluetooth connection too. Each lodge has it's own hot tub which was very well maintained and seats and tables around each one. Bedrooms was spacious, and beds were very comfy too, you get given a bath and hand towel along with slippers on each bed. There was a large communal gazebo with with lots comfy garden seats which was grate for us as a large group, car parking for each lodge is available right next to lodges too. As we was on a hen party we got an uber into the centre of York which took just over 20mins so location is good but you will need a car or taxi to get you anywhere as there is nothing within walking distance.
Lovely stay. Super clean and Tony couldn’t be more helpful. Beds really comfy. Very spacious and homely. Kids really enjoyed the hot tub and we didn’t want to leave after a 3 night stay. Returning in December for Christmas market! :)
Lovely place to stay! Really clean and comfortable with all the things you would need for a stay- really well equipped kitchen. Lovely basket of treats on arrival welcomed you to the cottage. The hot tub was fab and a a great way to unwind after a walk around Howard Castle! The location is great- we are non drivers so it was just a short Uber ride from York station. There was also a village centre around 10mins walk away where you’ll find two nice pubs and a mini Tesco. Would definitely recommend!
A very well presented cosy cottage with beautiful interior - equipped with everything you’d need and the added luxury of a private courtyard and hot tub. Comfy beds & a lovely stay! Will be back
We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing weekend stay in Sunflower cottage. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, we loved the hot tub after a long day exploring York and the welcome hamper was a lovely treat. Thank you Tony you were friendly and helpful- we will definitely be returning soon!
Fantastic stay in Daisy cottage for our friends 40th. Very clean, comfortable. The log burner and hottub are a fabulous treat. Would definitely recommend. We will be returning.
