cross a normal family campsite in the countryside with a festival field, add a load of motorbikes making motorbike noises every now and then, throw in an old pub converted a bit to make it more cafe like (gf bread available), and watch trains on the nearby track intermittently streak past, and you may have an idea of this place! Despite it being a Bank Holiday weekend, there was no noise out of hours, everyone was friendly, & it felt relaxed & inviting to this single camper.

Ok for an overnight stop in the caravan but wouldn't want to stay any longer. Staff in the pub very friendly. Toilet blocks/showers are ancient/dirty/falling apart and no where near enough of them. We didn't try the food on site but the pub/restaurant was very busy with a great atmosphere

Stayed for 2 nights with small group to ride the area. Large cafe/camping/event venue. Once section is clearly perminent sited tourers with people living there, large camping/caravan field had well cut grass & plentey of space. Food was at best average only if you like greasy spoon cafe style burgers & all day breakfasts. Toilets/showers for campers/caravaners were useable but insufficient in number and not in the best condition, think average festival style. I'de heard alot about squires over the years staff very friendly but not somewhere i would frequent again or recommend.

Relaxed biker cafe and campsite. The food was simple and tasty. Staff were very friendly. Nothing pretentious. The camping pitches are a good size and can be had with electric for a small addition charge. NOTE: You are very close to the train line and so the campsite would not be great for light sleepers.

Stayed on the camp ground, owners really helpful and seasonal pitch holders, friendly and approachable. Definitely visit again. EHU, CDP, showers basic but clean, cafe bar on site. Worth a stop over

We stay here quite a lot as the place is near family. Lovely place to stay, the staff are so friendly and they have lots of car/bike events on weekends. Great atmosphere every time you go.

Booked for 2 nights, arrived in the dark, and couldn't get out of there quick enough on the 2nd day... so stayed for 1 night. The pitch we had was ok but id say 80% of the other caravans were lived in full time so it wasn't a typical camp site. The cafe food was nice enough and the people who work there were all friendly but the camping experience was not a pleasant one. The toilets, waste point and showers were awful, so we didn't use them. We used our caravan to shower and left immediately after breakfast with no intention of ever going back. The environment was actually quite disconcerting and I wouldn't recommend to anyone with small children.

On the whole this place was ok but isn’t somewhere we would return too. The site itself is fairly level all round for caravan / motor homes but the top camping field has quite an incline. We stopped on a Friday & Saturday during the school holidays and found it to be extremely noisy with many people up till the early hours playing loud music and singing. It’s also next to a busy Trainline of which every train is required to sound their horn whilst passing the site. The toilet / shower block consisted of multiple large bathrooms containing a sink, toilet, shower and bin. Unfortunately we found them to be quite dirty and very smelly. You have to purchase tokens to use the showers of which we decided to give a miss given their cleanliness. It must be said that once the cleaner had been round in the morning it was considerably better. I can only imagine that having so many families onsite with unaccompanied children using the block that don’t respect them is the reason for the condition during our stay. The bins were also very full and it felt more like a tip than a refuse area, very unclear on if recycling was encouraged or not with no signage.

Awesome. Massive site, friendly staff, great pitches well sized. Lovely cafe/bar, good menu and prices. Loved seeing all the motorbikes. Could do with a play area for the kids but we can't wait to go again!
