   Someones taking the mick surely. Usually like coming here and today I decided to have the ham egg and cress sandwich advertised £4.30. Expecting it to be fresh made. What came out was a mass produced sandwich i could have easily gotten as part of a meal deal in a supermarket with crisps snack and drink for almost a pound less. Will not be falling for this again. Its actually embarrassing for them!

   Massive selection giving you everything you need to furnish your home all under the one roof. The shop had a good vibe to it and was a pleasant and quite inspiring place to walk around. I like Dunelm and have been visiting since the Dunelm Mill days, this shop is typical of most others of theirs and only sells good quality stuff. Prices may be a bit on the high side but it's all quality and worth the money.

   The Dunelm store in Southport has a good selection of bedding, housewares and a small cafe. Finding staff to help can be difficult at times and there is not a lot of thought given to wheelchair access making it difficult to get round some parts of the shop. We found that service in the cafe was incredibly slow when we visited and every table needed to be cleared and wiped over. Lots of trays and dirty crockery. Possibly the problem is a staff shortage?!

   The new layout has considerably improved this already excellent store. The only place better was the old George Henry Lee housewares section. Sadly gone the way of all flesh. Still, mustn't grumble.....

   I've bought several pairs of good value curtains here over the years, along with other nice little bits and pieces for the kitchen and bathroom. The Southport branch is the only one I've visited that has a coffee shop, and we've enjoyed a very nice coffee and cake there on a few occasions.
