   Popped into Poundland in Stratford and I’d say the experience was okay overall nothing particularly special, but it did the job. There was plenty of stock available, so finding what I needed wasn’t a problem at all. I like the fact that you can usually count on Poundland to have a wide range of everyday essentials, and this store was no different. That said, the shop did feel a bit untidy in places. Some shelves looked a little messy and a few areas could definitely have done with a quick tidy-up. To be fair though, it wasn’t terrible, and considering the time of day I went, it’s probably to be expected with the number of people coming through. I’ve definitely seen Poundland stores in worse condition, so this wasn’t the worst by any means. The atmosphere was pretty standard for a Poundland busy but manageable. Staff were around if you needed them, and the checkout process was fine, so no complaints there. All in all, it’s not the tidiest Poundland I’ve been to, but it’s also not the worst. Plenty of stock, reasonable service, and convenient if you’re in the area and need to grab a few bits. Just don’t expect it to be spotless.

   Me and my wife arrived at Poundland branch in Stechford Birmingham at 7:24 pm on 20/08/24, which was 6 minutes before closing time. The Security Guard was so rude and told us that we are not allowed as the store is closed when people were still shopping inside. The Security Guard for some reason discriminated against us by refusing us entry 6 minutes before closing time. The Security Guard was Asian most likely a Bengali or Pakistani. He was in his late 20’s. This behaviour by your Security Guard is shocking and unacceptable. He thought we were uneducated and treated us like idiots.

   Wonderful. All Branded Items Available. But one thing I noticed that nowadays,some items are also of more than One Pound Value. But it's reasonable and to my memory the max cost was of around 8 to 10 Pounds. The Poundland is one of the oldest popular stores of The UK.

   A very rude Indian, slightly old staff was on the counter today. She doesn’t normally work in this store so probably was covering or something. She was busy talking to a friend who was behind me on the counter, I have had many items and she didn’t help me with loading them in a bag at all, the counter was messy with other items which I did. It bug so I was making sure I don’t put them in the bag and then she made a cheeky comment to say to hurry up because of of our customers have to go work, she was on about her friend behind me, but if she had kept the counter tidy and perhaps helped me bag up I would have been faster. I go to work too, and I know how to talk to customers, I gelt stupid today after getting served by her. She was rude and I am hoping not to get served by her again. I usually shop here often and the staffs are nice, this lady was lazy, rude and vile. She then helped her friend bag up her shopping though and she only had 2 items. Doesn’t make any sense. Awful service.
