   they allow children (with equipment - floats etc) in during lane swimming. Not inherently bad/annoying but when they clearly cant swim & are holding up entire lanes, I think lifeguards need to step in. Or make it 16+ Ladies only/adults only sessions are nice but the above ruins it due to their limited slots.

   Pleasantly surprised as we've never been here previously but as Doncaster council has closed several swim centres at the same time, we had little choice. Fortunately, this is a nice pool and we enjoyed our visit with our granddaughter.

   I went for my Gym activation today. I was welcomed very nicely by the receptionist Katie Jack who helped me complete my direct debit details. Nothing was too much trouble for her she was very efficient and so helpful. My gym helper was Dave Cantley and he was brilliant. Being disabled I struggle to do things but he took the time to show me how each piece of equipment works, what muscles that it’s working. He took time to show me how to adjust each machine to fit my needs, he found ways in which the equipment could be altered to work with my disabilities. I would most certainly recommend this gym. The equipment is new, clean and tidy. The dressing room are clean and tidy. Their is also a disabled lift, which the receptionist will activate for you. There is a coffee shop in reception for tea/coffee snacks to go. Plenty of parking and disabled parking available. Thank you so much Armthorpe leisure centre for your support and welcome today.

   Previous 5 stars reduced to 3, because the water temp in the baby pool was reduced down and the changing room is also cold. My lad was shivering :(

   Staff are all brilliant ,swimming great ,disabled changing room needs a dam good clean also the scum round the large pool is a disgrace, I could see it closing down for health reasons after a really professional inspection

   The facilities were clean but the lunchtime slot for the adult swim was packed. Lovely showers, but I'm not a great fan of unisex changing rooms. Some of the older ladies were clearly getting excited when I started to soap up in the showers.
