The Pen Factory is a brilliant place that combines great food, great drinks, and a laid-back, modern atmosphere. The space is airy and stylish, with a relaxed vibe that makes it ideal for both casual drinks and a proper meal. They also offer a beautiful outside seating lounge and patio filled with numerous plants and ivy hanging down the wall. Definetely a beautiful place to go and unwind!

Perfect for any occasion. We popped in for a one course meal prior to a concert. There's a great, lively ambience about the place - perfect for a night out. Music level was just right, entry of friendly staff on duty. The food was perfect. We had Lamb Rump and Supreme of Chicken and they were delightful. Thank you again

Have been here loads of times in the past, but it's now under new ownership. But very pleased to say it still seems up to the same high standard. Same ambience. The food was really good, and because it was a nice day we were able to sit outside in the garden which was really nice. They had some great beers on and a really nice cider too. We had excellent service from the barman and Izzy the waitress, who seemed to be running the place just the two of them. Definitely recommend this place.

Had lunch with old work colleagues a few weeks back. Really nice. Food was good and beer great. So revisited yesterday on a sweltering Saturday afternoon for a few drinks on a friend’s birthday. Superb. Beer garden is possibly best in the city despite its smallish size. Loads of greenery amongst the old buildings. The crowd was perfect, no loudmouths or drunks. Just perfect for a hour or two. Well done Fiona and Dom. Nailed it.

Great food and service. I opted for the vegan option (not a vegan). It was Lush!!Beautifully presented and the female staff member was a gem. Giving advice about the food and what to go for regarding dietary requirements (For my friend). Ended up getting; (starter)Olives & Focaccia/Sourdough bread, with Squash (main), Chips Aioli (sides), Tenderstem Broccoli and Cherry Cake, gorgeous!Great recommendations! Will go there again for a meet and great with a group of friends.

Delicious food – we had homemade soup, hummus, and chips – in beautifully decorated surroundings. The fresh flowers dotted all over the place were incredible and the staff were extremely friendly.

We've visited a few times over the last year or so, we arrived without booking but we're quickly found a table, 4 of us. The menu changes frequently and all our choices didn't disappoint, I had the pork cheeks and celeriac it was absolutely beautiful. We all had a beer each a starter and main course, total cost £90....a bargain for the quality you get. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Liverpool.

Lovely place. The inside is great and it has a cute little garden in the back as well. Definitely a nice place to hang out.

Nice terrace space for when the weather allows. Small plates, sandwiches and salads with a good range of drinks. Relaxed atmosphere and various seating areas from grabbing a coffee to dining. Only small downside is the noise of the metal chairs being dragged back and forth on the wooden floor. Probably not that noticeable when it's busy and live music is on but it was a bit distracting on my visit (probably just me being weird!)
