   I've been twice now for a Faux Rook and Septum and would love to come again (and again). Brett is a wizard when it comes to piercing curations, works his magic knowing exactly where the piercings look best. You go with an dead or dream and he makes it a reality. For my septum he used a custom 9mm circular barbell sized the best for my anatomy and the piercing sits just right on my nose. I never thought I'd suit a septum piercing, but I just hadn't found the right jewellery. I can't wait to try out new designs. Thank you Brett and the great team at That Place

   Great service as always! Brett always makes my daughter feel at ease. Got the pleasure of Honey piercing my conch, and again, made to feel at ease and both very professional. Wouldn’t use anywhere else in York for a piercing ! I picked a piercing and Brett was honest and told me it wasn’t ideal for my ears. He advised what would be best and we went with that! Ellie was very polite and helpful too. Thanks again

   I have been pierced here many times by Brett, who is absolutely fantastic and very professional. Today I went to get my first ever tattoo with Lauren, and she was incredible! Very relaxed and friendly, made me feel very at ease, and nothing was too much trouble! She made sure I was comfortable with everything, and helped me find the perfect placement. And she was so gentle, I was so surprised at how easy it was!! Amazing experience, 10/10 would recommend, and will defo be back! Thank you so much Lauren, I love my magpies :))

   I didnt have anything done. But I was with my partner for 2 new piercings. The staff are a perfect mix of professional and banter. They make you feel very welcome. Courteous helpful and above all respectful. A relatively new business. Please consider them. We cannot recommend them enough. Place is spotless too!!!!

   Brett has done every single one of my piercings since I moved to York 11 years ago. His new studio is clean, hygienic and bright. Honey and Ray are lovely and approachable also. I've never had a single problem with any piercings Brett has done and cannot recommend the studio highly enough.

   I can’t express how impressed I am with That Place. And what a brilliant name for a new shop. The service that is provided is second to non. The staff are fantastic and extremely professional. They stock real gold piercing jewellery which is rare, because most piercing studios don’t, and the range provided gives a great choice. I will use That Place again and will, without a doubt recommend them to everyone I know. In fact I would sing their praises from the rooftops. They are the absolute best. Thank you and I will be back.
