Pharmacist that was working earlier today was very unhelpful and just rude with a cant be bothered to be there attitude! I would rather travel on 5 buses to Tesco in chesterfield to collect emergency prescriptions than deal with her again!

The shop entrance door is covered in old sellotape left over from long removed notices and the door is dirty. There is an unmanned till by the door which is surrounded by a jumble of boxes, wire containers and other detritus. The shop shuts for lunch but this fact isn’t displayed on their website. It needs a smarten up and customer friendly hours.

Had my flu vaccination this morning and was seen by a lady who was patient ,friendly and informative, I was made to feel comfortable throughout. I have used boots for other shopping and must admit the staff combination today was Good! One particular lady use to make customers feel uncomfortable and she was very rude. But not today, very helpful and very welcoming. I think the lady who did my jab was cat. Will start and shop again now, the atmosphere was excellent today!

Just went in here to get something quite personal for my girlfriend. When I asked the woman at the counter for some Plan B. (which I now is called the morning after pill, as I’ve lived in America for a while so did not know it was called something different). She got frustrated with me as she didn’t know what it was and repeated it very loudly multiple times in front of other guests and showing frustration towards me. When I quietly said I’ll just message my girlfriend and ask. She loudly said do you mean the morning after pill. And then proceeded to still be very loud and have a horrible tone towards me, said no I can’t she has to come in and I need to ask her questions. The last bit is fair enough, but the tone, attitude and the way she embarrassed me in front of multiple guests was really terrible. She worked in the pharmacy part, but you would think that someone who works there would know how to be quiet or disclose personal information and not shout it across the whole store. I will not be coming into this boots again, and will also be writing to head office. If one of my employees spoke to a guest like that in my business they would be losing their job. Never experienced anything like it, no sympathy, no empathy, no awareness, and an all round disgusting attitude from a terrible employee! I really hope no other customers have had to expericence that, because it has genuinely made myself feel awful.

Helpful staff, I've had my flu vaccine here over the last couple of years & have been impressed. Also, the No 7 products are good. My only grumble is that they could do with updating the store.

I had the misfortune to shop at Boots Matlock, they are seriously understaffed and it impacts customers as people queueing are leaving in frustration. I was there about 15 mins and after waiting for ages I was told to go to the cashier near the door who was walking round the shop finding things for a young woman and chatting for ages before she finally served me. I told her I had been waiting for a long time and customers were not being treated fairly she said oh and was disdainful. I expected her to apologise but she was huffy. There is another chemist called Manor Pharmacy where I will do my shopping in future. I would have thought the cashier would have passed my comments on to management instead of being rudely dismissive to me instead you have lost a customer of 65 years.

Queued for half an hour for a prescription pick up, queue was by the door! Not a solitary occasion either! Prescription had been sent from GPS previous day, still not ready. Unfortunately the pharmacy service is appalling since Phoebe left. Last 2 visits for prescription, things are back to normal, quick and efficient, great, well done!
