Went in there today usually I have a normal experience but I went to buy a couple bits drinks and a snack and lip balm, I was in queue like normal and the cashier who had very short skin faded hair which is platinum blonde and black was giving me awful looks but I just thought she was busy, I noticed she was polite and friendly with the customer in-front with general conversation and please and thank yours, when it came to my turn to buy no greeting I was greeted with a sigh and eye roll, did not talk to me or offer me any bags or if I can scan my club card, the only difference between me and the other people is my skin colour, so disappointing and such a horrible way to treat someone; will be complaining to boots and taking this further as it’s fleshy racially expressed.

I went in this store first time in many years and it will be the last. Assistant with initial J was rude needs to learn customer service skills , plenty of staff I wasn’t on the pharmacy side I was on the opposite side till. The manager needs to be aware of how customers are spoken to . Maybe she was having an off day but she shouldn’t belittle people or try to . Unpleasant experience shame because the shop is a lovely little shop!!

I always have my repeat prescriptions go to this store. Yes, they are extremely busy, no, they aren’t magicians that can deal with everyone at once but people need to realise that they are prioritising patient safety and making sure that they are dispensing medications correctly that could cause harm if they were distracted by other customers and that led to mistakes. I love the fact that they know their ‘regulars’ and appreciate the fact that they take the time to get to know people. I recently approached them regarding a crime committed against me, they gave me the time to talk, advised me on what I needed to do to ensure my health was safeguarded and offered emotional support. I’ll never forget the kindness that they showed me during such a difficult time. On the other side of the store, the staff are always so pleasant and helpful to customers, they take the time to ensure that every customer is treated as an individual and will make sure that they find what they need in the store. I have yet to meet a member of staff throughout the whole store that isn’t friendly and helpful. Thank you to every one of them, they work in a busy store and still make sure that customers are happy with their experience. Looking at some of the reviews, I think people need to realise that staff are extremely busy but give them the time and they will make sure you get what you need when visiting the store.

I was standing at the front counter next to prescription counter and no one there serving anyone, everyone was in a queue on the prescription side, so I just asked the lady behind the counter by the prescription counter if I must queue behind everyone on prescription side to be served at the front counter, and she responds "I am busy helping a customer" and I said yeah, I just wanted to know where to go, because I was just standing there like a fool. I walked straight out.

The store is well stocked. One of the male pharmacists does not come across as especially customer friendly. They have a system where they won't let you pay for goods on the pharmacy side of the store. I understand the reason for this but on both of my 2 last visits I've been sent across the store to stand and stare at an unmanned till. My relatives have had the same experience. The attitude of the less friendly pharmacist seems to be rubbing off on the, previously lovely, store staff.

Friendly staff, service is slow at times, I but this down to staff being snowed under with work and on occasions looked under staffed.

This store is nice to look around . It has quite a large gang way so its wheelchair friendly . There are no steps into the shop and it's on a flat surface . It's got a good selection of clothes for the younger child and they have always been of good quality when I've bought them in the past . The staff are knowledgeable .

Had to queue for ages for my prescription with the local drug addicts behind and listen to their colourful conversation. When I finally had to get to my turn I was told to wait by the chemist while she served a man who just walked straight to the front of the queue. Then she had no record of my prescription. Absolutely shocking. Will not be taking my prescription there again.

Large queues due to not enough staff. If you need to use the pharmacy you will be waiting ages. Every now and again a member of staff will have to go upstairs to get something for a customer, leaving everyone waiting until they come back. There's no one to cover for them while they are gone. Companies like Boots only care about shareholder profit so staff numbers are cut to an absolute minimum. I only go there nowadays if I absolutely have to.
