   I walked into this shop completely accidentally, but this must have been my lucky day! Came in for a rock, left with fish, plants, and food. Owner is the kindest person who will gladly share his vast knowledge, suggest actually better things, not necessarily most expensive, and has definitely enticed me to visit again. I think it's people like that, that we buy our second, third and fourth aquariums. Prices deserve a separate mention, they are unfairly low! I got my rock, six fish of two varieties, multiple plants and left with a wallet £40 lighter. So definitely would suggest everyone to visit, if only just to meet this lovely man. PS.: The fishes say "Hi"! :)

   I’ve recently moved to the area and after needing items I couldn’t wait for delivery from, I went here and was helped by Jim for everything I needed at a great price. What a wonderful gem of a place! Clean, organised and has such a great array of products and the most content and curious birds and fish I’ve ever seen. Please, please, please buy from your independent businesses! It’s so important and you will never get customer service or community in chain stores like you will from Jim and others like him. I will never order online again!

   My dog, Billie, and I love to go on walks here once a week to stick up on treats. His prices are so reasonable, and he is always happy to help. Billie loves going as she always gets a nice treat. Definitely recommend!

   I've been buying my animal stuff from Jim for many years and will do for as long as the shop is open. Jim is a lovely person and knows what he is talking about. He has set up a new tank for me and did a great job and he doesn't charge too much for cleaning the other one. Not only that he's very good at what he does and I've learned a lot from him about caring for my pets. Thanks Jim for everything much appreciated

   Lovely little shop, very clean and well presented. It's clear the fish and birds are well looked after. We came in for a budgie and the gentleman who owns the shop was so lovely and helpful, even stopping to talk to my 3 year old. We ended up coming away with two budgies and we've only had them a day but we already love them! Will most certainly be coming back again for food and toys.

   What a brilliant pet shop. Jim really cares about his pets and customers. I was shocked at his prices compared to others. So much cheaper than other places i have been! I will be buying what I can from his shop from now on. He spent lots of time with me and explained exactly how to look after my fish and what i would need. He told me best time scales on adding fish and how to care for the tank. Nothing was a problem to him. It has a lovely local independent feel and we need to keep hold of these places!
