   Horrendous experience! My cavachon had been going here for a regular groom for 2 years, since he was a puppy. He had never been to another groomers. When they lost staff and presumably needed to lose a few regular customers they told us what had actually been happening and how appallingly they had been treating our dog. My dog is apparently scared of the hairdryer, so they told us that 2 groomers were pinning him down, whilst he was attached by his collar to the table, to stop him trying to get away from the dryer. They had been muzzling him as he was so scared he was growling at the hairdryer. I was absolutely devastated that I trusted them to look after our dog. Instead of telling us when he was a puppy that he was scared of the hair dryer and coming up with the solution that he wouldn't get washed at the groomers, instead they put him through hell for 2 years muzzling and pinning him to the grooming table, whilst still attached by his collar to the table. For 2 years every time I picked him up and asked how he had been, they said 'he's been absolutely fine', they must have been lying to me. I would NOT recommend you trust these people with your family pet. In response to the reply from ‘the owner’. I’m not sure how you think I was ‘misinformed’ as my review reflects exactly what the groomer told me when I collected my dog on his final visit to you. I can confirm that I left exactly the same review on your Facebook page back after the visit, so this should not have come as a surprise to you. At no point during our visits had you ever told me he didn’t like the hairdryer, or that you had been pinning him down or muzzling him until the final visit, as far as I was aware, you had told me he was absolutely fine. On this final visit you told me about the muzzling and the pinning down by two groomers whilst he was attached to the lead on the table. If you wish to discuss, you have my phone number, but I can 100% guarantee that this is information I was given by the groomer on our final visit. I was in shock and absolutely devastated that I had trusted you to look after our dog.

   Can’t thank the team at One Lucky Pup enough for taking such good care of Bonnie. We’ve been regular customers now for almost a year, and they’ve always gone above and beyond when grooming Bonnie to make sure she’s comfortable, as well as delivering a gorgeous groom every time.    Our border terrier Dexter visited One Lucky Pup in Handbridge today and I’m so happy with how he came out! Dex isn’t the happiest getting groomed but the team were very professional, kind and caring with him!    I have been taking my 2 Yorkshire Terriers to Abbi at Trim Dog for a few months now and I can honestly say she does a fantastic job. The dogs look great and they love going to see her. Fantastic value for money. If you live in Chester or surrounding areas she is definitely worth try. You will not regret it. Cannot praise her enough, an unbelievable talent.
