Absolutely ruined my Christmas. This pharmacy managed to mix up prescriptions right before the holidays, causing unnecessary stress at what should have been a happy time. Instead of owning the mistake, the staff were slow, dismissive, and showed little urgency to fix a potentially serious error. Trying to sort this out during Christmas was frustrating and exhausting, and the lack of care or accountability was shocking. Prescription accuracy is non-negotiable, and this experience has completely destroyed my trust. I will not be returning and would strongly advise others to be cautious—especially during busy periods

This pharmacy does a decent job overall. Prescriptions are usually filled on time, and the staff is generally polite and helpful when asked questions. Wait times can vary, but nothing out of the ordinary. The store is clean and organized, and I’ve had no major issues with my medications. It’s a reliable option if you’re looking for a straightforward pharmacy experience.

I hope I’m remembering her name correctly ! I believe it was Fiona from the bobbi brown counter. She is incredible. I came in looking for Charlotte tilbury but glad I left having bought the bobbi brown foundation for dry skin. Can confirm I’ve just done a 10 hour shift wearing this foundation that I bought this morning, and it’s hasn’t budged ! Most foundations only showcase and highlight my dry skin and texture more, but this foundation is perfect, as Fiona reassured me it was. It’s incredibly hydrating. Fiona is amazing, she really took the time to make sure the foundation was the right shade for me and that it worked for my dry skin. She even recommended a primer, too. I hope someone from the team sees this and gives her a massive round of applause, she was a dream! - Sophie :) xx

Not enough self services that offer cash. Till checkout cashier was rude and didn't know her arm from her leg. Self service machine took my money and jammed. Staff couldn't figure it out. What was a quick pop in for a meal deal and back to work went from 5 mins to 30 mins absolutely hopeless

One of life's great mysteries is how is Boots still in business ? The prices in their run down stores with hoity toity staff , regardless of any 'offers' or 'loyalty cards' are ridiculous. It boils down to a lot of probably older people not knowing any better. Who is bank rolling this organisation ? And why ? WHSmith are gone and no doubt Boots will soon follow. The pharmacy at Chester can only be described as incompetent and hostile .

Bought what I needed. Only 1 member of staff to attend the 'self service' tills and her own till. Poor woman looked frazzled! She was very helpful though even when overworked.

I went into boots Chester today to ask if it was possible to exchange a bottle of perfume a refill bottle that my husband had bought by mistake , a lady of the no7 counter came to help and said because the wrapping wasn’t on it she didn’t think she could do anything, but called the store manager the store manager was amazing very friendly and let me exchange a £100 bottle , for a normal bottle instead of a refill.I definitely hadn’t used it and wasn’t aware that it had wrapping on it when my husband bought it for me , she was very kind and helpful, I have to say the no7 lady short blond hair gave me a back handed comment that they would not be able to sell it now and seemed in a bad temper. I’m only glad the store manager actually helped me which was very kind indeed . Thank you .

We went to the pharmacy and the staff were really helpful. Boots was very busy, with queues and waits for the prescriptions. The staff remained calm and professional, ensuring all the safety checks were done.

What to thank you lady on the pharmacy counter (sorry didn’t get her name). The queue was sizeable with only one lady at the counter. There were a few people in front of us and all were complaining about something or other. She handled everything in a calm and professional manner. I enquired about getting the right flu medication as my dad has high blood pressure. She went out of her was make sure I purchased the right medication. Super helpful and polite.
