   I booked an appointment over the phone for my cat after receiving an automatic text that it was time to renew his vaccinations. When I showed up at the allocated time at the clinic in Wirral (after lots of stress for my cat - he does NOT like the cat carrier!) they didn't have my appointment on their system and told me there was no one at that clinic any more who would be able to administer vaccines; they no longer offer that service. That I had booked the appointment for a different date at another of their clinics. I know this is not true as I am out of town on the date they told me I had booked, so I would never have booked that date. I believe they had lost my information and were covering their backs. After taking half a day off work and all the added stress for my cat in the carrier, I find this unacceptable. The staff in the clinic are incompetent and I will be finding another vet company.

   We have a rescue greyhound who is nervous of people he doesn’t know, but the vet in Livingstone st Birkenhead is fantastic with him , hence our dog will let him do anything to him , and doesn’t try and get away, the vet is gentle with him and he gets a treat when he’s finished , the vet sees him on time and takes his time and answers any questions we may have I strongly recommend him

   Wonderful people. Our two cats are very frightened of new people. The vet was so patient and knew how to deal with them. The nurse was also brilliant. Both cats dislike having their claws clipped, but where fine with the vets nice way with them

   I’ve been with Wirral vets now for over 3 years, the care provided for our animals has been remarkable, from fabulous appointment times, to advice over foods, surgeries and amazing after-care. We simply would go anywhere else !!

   Always really helpful on phone and often have appointments available at short notice if needed. Both my rabbits have been treated well for both scheduled and unplanned visits, and always come home better for it. Vets are never cheap obviously, but so far seem most reasonable prices locally, from the little research I've done to compare for things like operations and vaccinations. Different vets on different visits, but all the staff we've met so far have been friendly and professional.
