I recently adopted a cat from the cats protection. She was cared for at Lingfield. The lady who I met , Jan, was very knowledgeable and the cats areas where clean and well kept. Thank you for caring for Daisy (now she's called Abbey)
Elaine - L. Complete and utter dedication "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the first time we have used Jan's cattery. It is spotlessly clean and very spacious In a lovely serene garden. What a good job we chose Jan's cattery. Our cat Gravel stopped eating after a few days and Jan took her to the vet. She had a sore mouth and was given antibiotics. After a couple of days she was still not eating and much worse, a 2nd visit to the vet resulted in her having an infection in her tooth and was very ill. We were consulted at every stage by Jan who is just the MOST WONDERFUL PERSON you could ever meet. We spoke to the vet about the treatment required for her. Jan nursed our lovely cat for three weeks, feeding her through a syringe every two hours, being with her 24/7 and keeping in constant touch. She washed and cleaned her as Gravel was incapable. Her pure dedication and selflessness kept Gravel going. She was like a private nurse. No words are good enough. We're forever grateful for the caring person she is. A medal is required. Don't go anywhere else.
We had a look round before we left our kitten here for a week, we were welcomed and felt confident that she was is good hands. We also sent one or two messeges when we where away and got a prompt reply with a photo. Very reassuring and accommodating. She looked very content in her heated cabin when we picked her up. Took my 6 yr old cat who has never been in a cattery to Lingfield and Jan led me to his hotel room which was all ready for him clean and cosy and let me settle him in felt guilty and a bit worried leaving him as he is a very outdoorsy kinda cat Jan reassured me and next day sent me 2 pictures and a video of him !! He was content and I knew I didn't t have to fret about him when I collected him he was in perfect condition and very vocal and pleased to see me !! Happy kitty obviously had a lovely restful holiday can t thank Jan and her team enough for looking after him so well thanks again- beautiful cattery and lovely owners that care about your fur baby as much as you xxxxx
This is an excellent cattery! My cat Salem has been visiting for years and he loves the comfort and care provided by Jan and her team. The accommodation provided is nice and cozy (definitely a fancy cat hotel or Cat Disneyland as I like to call it). Book early to make sure you get your space as it's very popular!
I would have no hesitation recommending Lingfield. It is a beautiful cattery and the owner Jan is brilliant with our cats. They're quite timid and wary of almost anyone but Jan spends time with them and gives cuddles when they will allow !! I never have to worry about them knowing they are in the best of hands and are so well cared for. The cabins are beautiful and have heaters for the colder months. Definitely 5 star accommodation and care. Can't recommend Lingfield enough.
We took our two cats here for a week when we went on holiday. Our older cat hasn’t been well recently and is on medication. We were a bit worried leaving her. This wasn’t a problem. Jan said she’d give the medicine. This put our minds at rest. She also was happy to send us updates and photos. We picked our cats up and they were both content and in great health. We’ll use Lingfield again when we next go away.
We can absolutely recommend this cattery to anyone who is nervous about leaving their cat for the first time. Jan was willing to send us photos and videos, respond to our additional special requests, and follow the special dietary needs of our kitten. She really did everything to ensure we have a peace in mind and can enjoy our holiday. Moreover, she was willing to wait for us after closing time on the collection day, as she is naturaĺy caring and understanding person. What matters most though, is that our kitten has returned happy and healthy, and has settled back in without any problems.
We have used this cattery twice now for our two young cats and are so pleased we now have a safe and happy place for them to stay when we're away. The first time round our cats were nervous and shy - Jan was obviously very calm and took care of them because the second time round they were so happy and content when we left them - we couldn't believe it! Jan always responded quickly and honestly to our 'kitty check-ins' and this helped us enjoy our holidays. Just knowing they were safe and being looked after by someone who obviously really cares and knows about cats made all the difference. Thank you so much!
