   I visited miltons in St Jonhs precinct on 29.8.25 and purchased a Ladies Rotary wrist watch, I was happy with the customer service i received in the shop. I was told by the male assistant he would check the watch battery and have the watch gift wrapped for me. After about 10 minutes he returned with the watch in his hand and said there was a problem with the watch as they had put a new battery in the watch, but he could not get the back of the watch to close??? I was informed the man who used the the watch press that closed watch backs onto watches was off work until Monday 1.9.25. as there were at least 4 members of staff in the shop i asked could no other members of staff that could use this press to put the back on the watch that I had paid for and was told no other member of staff could do this??? As i needed the watch for a birthday present for 31.8.25 and as there was no other way to resolve this problem for me, I was just told they would simply refund my money and that was it!!! So after paying for the watch I then left empty handed through no fault of my own and that was it and I was so disappointed with this ridiculous outcome. So because no other member of staff was trained to use this press??? The Sale was lost and surely this is not the way to treat customers and maybe if you trained other staff to use this press you would stop this ever happening again. Luckily for me I was eventually able to buy another Rotary watch at Miltons on County Road without any problems at all!!! and i am so disappointed this whole sorry saga actually happend, because nobody in your shop could actually close the back of watch in a jewellers???

   I have just sold my vintage Rolex at Milton's.I did so reluctantly because of a change of circumstance.I had not dealt with them before but now certainly would again. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Personal service are the by words for this family business and the transaction was conducted with empathy and professionalism. All staff were friendly and efficient. I got a great deal and I received payment within a couple of hours.Faultless service. I would especially like to thank Mr Hayward Milton who took the trouble to see us personally. He is a gentleman and his communication and expertise gave me confidence and the transaction was made easy.

   I live out in the sticks, so needed a watch valuation done during my City break in Liverpool. Staff were polite and helpful. Milton's was the only retailer in the city that could do the valuation in the timeframe (saving me weeks & a return visit) plus it was more reasonable that other stores. Paperwork/pack is very thorough and professional and was accepted by my insurer. Thank you!

   Called into shop today looking for a necklace.what friendly fantastic staff, nothing was too much trouble , gentleman who served us was so patient and took time to listen to exactly what we were looking for .we also spoke to a lovely lady who was the manager. We visited several jewellers in Liverpool City centre and Milton's St John's precinct most definitely stood out as the best.customer service was excellent and glad to say we purchased a beautiful necklace at a great price. We will most definitely recommend this shop and will return . The staff at this branch are a credit to Milton's.

   Have dealt with Miltons purchasing four Rolex watches and they have always been absolutely brilliant, the staff are extremely pleasant and have the patience of Saints! I’ve received fantastic advice on several occasions too and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them as their knowledge and customer service is of the highest possible standard!
