I just wanted to leave a review for Sophie at Hobbycraft Aintree. She was unbelievably helpful, so friendly and polite, and genuinely went out of her way to help me. Customer service like that is rare these days. She is an absolute asset to the business — thank you, Sophie!

Called in here while at the retail park, nice hobby store that has quite alot to offer, but very over priced. You can find somethings here a heck of a lot cheaper in Pound stores, home bargings or the range, just package differently. It is a big store but there was 3 customers in.

I love Hobbies Craft and my sister is a real craft fanatic, so I had high hopes visiting the Aintree store. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed this time. The stock felt really spread out, making it hard to find what I needed. When I asked staff for help, they gave me a vague direction but didn’t really assist properly. I still like the Hobbies Craft chain overall, but on this occasion, the Aintree store let me down.

Attended private crochet lesson with mum and mate. Brilliant!! Such a fabulous little event with lovely tutor, showing lots of skill and even more patience to complete novices!! The store is always well stocked and arranged, with everything you could possibly want, need and more! Many many thanks for a great time x

A good range of items for a range of crafts, including tailoring, knitting, embroidery, macrame art, and baking, among others. Unfortunately lacked the items I needed at the time (no shop could possibly hold everything), yet contained enough of other supplies to deserve a return visit.

Got a suncatcher making kit the other day and most of the dyes came slightly dry and gel - like. The shop is good though, they have lots of nice stuff.

We visited Aintree store for the first time. It will also be the last time. We had 20 minutes to spare - more than enough to go in, get what we wanted, pay and leave. We entered and began to walk up the stairs. An older female member of staff shouted (!) from the tills "you'd better be quick, the till's going off in a minute!". At 20 mins to closing time? Unfortunately we needed the item we came for, or I'd have turned round and walked out. I can't tell you this individual's name as she had her ID badge facing towards her, when we paid for the item I politely asked her name but she refused to respond. We were out again by 7.45, so to Hobbycraft management, if this is actually your closing time then please amend the listing in Google and on your website. I don't think this is a place I'd recommend to visit...scroll on!

Good job I asked for a receipt as she was charging me twice for one item even tho I gave her my purchases one by one. I was asked if I wanted a receipt so should I need to return an item then if I don't have a receipt will you still be asking for one???
