The photos on the booking page do not convey the size of the rooms, maybe the layouts vary but we could only access one side of the bed and only had one bedside table. The wall mounted shelf made it difficult to get bags tucked away at the foot of the bed as well. I've stayed at a competitor small room hotel up the street from this and will stay there next time I'm in the area as they have better under bed storage which makes the small space workable. Other concerns we had: poor ventilation made the room completely fog up / get damp when we showered, throw pillow and throw blanket were clearly not washed, breakfast was pretty rough (bad coffee and questionable juice), and even on the 4th floor you can feel and hear the trains passing below though it at least didn't disrupt our sleep. Staff were friendly and it is nice and close to Paddington station.

While traveling through Europe this winter, my mom and I chose to stay at Point A Paddington after having had great experiences with the Point A brand in Scotland and because Paddington’s accessibility makes it the Beyoncé of London neighborhoods: iconic, reliable, and always on time. We were not disappointed with our choice! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. The room was small (this is London, after all), but clean and comfortable, the perfect little home base for our city adventures. My only teeny-tiny complaint was that the room came with just two bath towels and no hand towels, but honestly… we survived. We’re adaptive. We’re resilient. We’re basically Olympic towel strategists at this point. Breakfast (included when you book direct) was simple, consistent, and exactly what we’ve come to expect from Point A, a nice way to start the day without the chaos of hunting down pastries before caffeine. But what truly made our stay wonderful was the staff, especially Shay and Harsh. Every day they greeted us with warm smiles, asked about our adventures, remembered our Borough Market tea obsession, and even offered us hot water for our nightly ritual. They gave helpful suggestions and always made us feel welcome, seen, and cared for. Their kindness was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. We’ll absolutely be back… in fact, I’ll personally be back in about three weeks! If you’re looking for a friendly, comfortable, and well-located hotel with staff who genuinely brighten your day, Point A Paddington is a fantastic choice.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and had a great time. The room was very comfortable and clean, and I loved the touch screens for changing the colour and intensity of the lights. We got everywhere really quickly thanks to the location, and the staff helped us with everything we asked for. Thank you to everyone (especially Andreea for making our day so much easier). We'll definitely be back!

Great budget hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, particularly Samuel and Andrea. Location is great, close to two metro stations - with express train to/fro Heathrow from Paddington station. Tootbus (blue line) and city busses also stop close by, and even the pick-up point for Harry Potter studio's tour is within 15min walking distance. Area feels safe (mother travelling with teen daughter). Marylebone is quite close by, with lovely restaurants and shops. The street is somewhat noisy, as can be expected in a busy city, and we slept well regardless. Room has all we needed: good beds, warm shower, tv, closets, and it looks nice, esp for a 3 star hotel. We were upgraded to a relatively large room. We definitely recommend this place!

Stayed in one of the underground (labelled as windowless rooms on booking.com). It turns out the building is built right next to the underground tunnels. I could hear every train passing by. Didn't cause an issue for me but if you're sensitive to sound I recommend not staying in the windowless rooms. On the other hand if you're a train fan (or find the sounds peaceful) I recommend the windowless rooms! Either way wish I had known in advance. Otherwise was a nice, clean, modern hotel. Had a nice stay. There's a Tesco's over the road which was quite convenient for midnight snacking.

Nice hotel, small rooms and small bed but I already knew this (it says on their website/booking). You don’t pay much, for a great location! Rooms are very clean, and modern. Only the breakfast is nothing special, every day the same. But then again, the breakfast is 12 pounds so also cheap. Also the girls at the reception/breakfast are great! Very nice and helpful. Overal, great hotel on an even better location!

Cozy hotel but very basic. No tea or coffee in the room, as the rooms themselves are incredibly small! But they are comfortable and private. Mood lighting in the room is also a nice feature. Main issue with our stay was that we were told when we checked in that our room wouldn't be cleaned whilst we were out for the day, so we didn't pay much attention to where we put things in the room or how we left it. After a very busy day out in London, we come back to our room to find that our entire bag full of food and snacks was gone! Not even just the contents inside the bag, literally the bag and everything was just gone. Went to the Reception desk as we were obviously very confused. She apologized and gave out a usual hotel cop-out of free breakfast. I want it clear that this is not her fault as I'm sure she is just doing her job, but this just isn't good enough. We definitely had more the £18 worth of food in that bag, most of it was only bought last night and hadn't even been opened. Such a waste. Other than that, it's a comfortable hotel with pretty good breakfast.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. Our room on the third floor was peaceful even though it was facing the busy main road. The staff were all brilliant and very friendly. I didn't hate anything, but it would be lovely to see a kettle with tea/coffee in the room. However, the complimentary tea and coffee downstairs is lovely.

Small room and very small bathroom but this is to be expected in London for the price. Breakfast is very good. Great location with tube stops nearby to get you where you need to go. Room was in need of a bit of a deep cleaning to get rid of the dust in the corners and under the bed but again, for the price point it wasn't unexpected. Friendly and professional staff were always available and ready to help with any requests or questions. Would stay again.
