   Chefs language appalling I came in this sunday with my wife and 2 young kids. The meal itself was pleasant. Good food. Good service. But I guess one of the chefs were in a bad mood as I was hearing foul language almost shouted across the restaurant. In a place that is meant to be a family restaurant you would expect an open kitchen to have more control over their language. Will not be back to this location. Wife nearly left in tears.

   The food was amazing the service was amazing. This place is very kid friendly, yes most restaurants are nowadays but how many actually have bathrooms with junior urinals and toilets. They provide kid menus that are freshly made just like adults. My grandson has a few allergies so his sauce was on the side and before we could mix he devoured the pasta. It was fresh and tasted just as good without. I had the margarita pizza and my daughter had the pesto pasta which she said was amazing without the pesto overkill. I noticed many other booths had kids and when the food came, the kids were just ask into their meals like my grandson. So if you're looking for family,fresh pasta pizza kind of place look no further.

   I ordered the regular pizza, which I was told would be thick compared to the romana pizzas, but it arrived very thin and very undercooked. The picture shows the bottom of the pizza. The cheese was definitely store bought and the pizza overall tasted like cheese on toast The mac & cheese was also very bland, with no seasoning, not even salt & pepper. When I asked for mayonnaise, I was told “this is an Italian restaurant” yet chips are offered on the menu. It’s a bit confusing to include non-Italian items like chips/mac&cheese but not offer basic condiments. Also this was the least Italian-style pizza I’ve had in a long time Overall, for the price, the quality just wasn’t there. There are much better options nearby — I wouldn’t recommend it and would suggest saving your money. In response to the reply: we were there on the 21st July between 19.00-20.00 and at table 30

   Ordered a pizza via Just Eat. The courier had a Deliveroo bag so small the pizza couldn't fit in carried flat. So he carried it diagonally. Two of the slices hadn't just lost toppings and cheese but even the sauce had slid off! To top it off it was stone cold. The restaurant should be checking couriers have suitable bags for transporting the food - large enough to fit in flat, and decent insulation. Just Eat offered a mere £6 compensation because they obsessed over the mention of the food being cold. Tell me - would you pay £19.25 plus delivery for the pizza you see in the photo?

   My girlfriend and I always meet up at PizzaExpress, but I won’t be going back in a hurry. The manager who was dour faced sat us next to the door which was draughty and we asked to shift, which didn’t please him at all. The staff were unhelpful and non smiling and put a damper on our afternoon get together. The pizzas are expensive and definitely not good value for money. I would not recommend this restaurant.

   Overall a lovely family dinner. Can be stressful with two children in tow but the staff were super helpful. It's always such a lovely atmosphere and I'm sure we'll be back soon.

   Used our tesco vouchers to get 2 huge delicious pizzas. We were disappointed that no nicer placed tables were available. It was very busy and when we asked for one away from the main doors one of the staff was downright rude and also assumed we hadn't booked. She wasn't pleasant at all but the man who served us was.
