   Ordered from here for the first time after moving to the area, and sadly it was a letdown. The shish kebab was really disappointing — the meat was tough and tasted burnt, and the bread was both stale and soggy from the juices. I added a slice of chocolate fudge cake as a treat, but that was also stale and tiny for nearly £5. The only saving grace was the cheesy chips, which were actually pretty good — hence the two stars.

   Ordered for the first time after moving here at the beginning of the month and my shish kebab was horrible. Tough/charcoal coated meat. The kebab bread felt stale and partly soggy from the meat juices. Thought I’d treat myself to a chocolate fudge cake slice and again was stale and tiny for £4.95. Not impressed. The only good thing was the cheesy chips hence the 2 stars.

   Took longer than advised to arrive. Large kebab apparently hardly any meat in it. It was absolutely dripping in grease and cold.

   Just moved to Penicuik and went in here for a fish supper during moving process and sadly was not impressed, fish and chips were very heavy with grease and felt off after eating, will now have to go further if wanting some fish and chips. Gave it 3 stars as staff were very lovley.

   Worst kebab I have ever had. Pitt's bread was rock soiled. The meat was chewy. Banoffee pie cream was off. At least the tiny salad was edible :-(

   Terrible. So overpriced. Chip roll was soggy. Ordered profiteroles for £4.50 and 3 tiny ones were delivered in a tub. Called to query and told that’s normal. Honestly this used to be a good chippy but the prices and portion sizes are ridiculous! Won’t be ordering again.

   The greatest takeout I've ever had; the special fish is excellent and the attention to detail is perfect; lovely box; a slice of lemon; tartar sauce; like in a restaurant; service is always exceptional; friendly and quick; and top of the tops: the pistacchio ice cream!
