Thoroughly brilliant meal last night at Don Ya. The only problem we had was that there was too much to choose from. Service was attentive. All the food we had was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and will definitely be back in the future.
One of the best sushi I've ever eaten. If you're in Glasgow, you have to try it. The staff is great and very friendly.
When you put the phrase 'best sushi in Glasgow' in Google, Don Ya restaurant will be on top of the list. It's couldn't be more accurate. Fantastic food, followed by great service. Definitely a place to come back.
Definitely recommend Don Ya Sushi! Fresh and delicious Japanese food, serves with pretty decorated plates. Reasonable price with plenty of choices. What was outstanding is the service, the staffs were very lovely, welcoming and cheerful. Very pleased with amazing service and yummy food. Will definitely be back if visited Glasgow again :)
Fantastic food in a beautiful setting. So often, restaurants will put all their focus on the visual appearance of the food, whilst the taste is forgotten - not the case at Don Ya, where the food is beautiful AND delicious. Plenty of great vegetarian options (the fish dishes looked amazing as well) and everyone was so friendly and kind. We left the restaurant already planning what we’d get next time we’re in.
Really excellent food and friendly service. Nicely presented and freshly made. You have to finish with Mochi ice cream! We had a sushi set, soft shell crab roll, and teriyaki chicken bowl. Perhaps the restaurant could be slightly warmer, but we’d definitely come back!
This is the best restaurant I have ever been to- for sushi or otherwise - and the most beautiful! The service is impeccable, the food is stunningly presented and delicious, and the prices are incredible for the quantity and quality of food you recieve! The place inside is very simple but they do have excellent food! Beautiful presentation of the dishes. Fabulous menu with so many options, oysters, sushi rolls, donburi, ramen, starters and exciting sushi sets. They have some Japanese beers (bottles) and also other bottled drinks. Friendly prices and great service. Can't wait to go back!
The service here is superb! Everyone was nice and helpful. Food was delicious and presentation was really nice :) food took some time, but it was very busy when we were there, so that’s understandable. Their sesame ice cream is a must try! I’d highly recommend the place.
