We LOVED this place! The food was amazing! We did have to ask for our water and drinks a few times, but we agreed that the staff were lovely. We will definetly be back. A great find!

Every dish I had was superb. I had a large selection of sushi (salmon, tuna and fried chicken) that were the best I've ever tasted and eaten. The portions were also very big in comparison to other Japanese restaurants I have been to. I also had a beef yaki soba that was better than any I've ever had before. The price was very reasonable particularly for the quality of food being received. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that appreciates delicious and diverse Japanese cuisine.

Very good experience in this little restaurant. We just popped in for lunch and had the Sukiyaki. Shared with 2 people, it's a generous amount of food: lots of beef and a variety of vegetables in the pot. Also an enjoyable experience to have the hot pot at the table. Overall, delicious. We also had the mochi for dessert, which was also good. Service was attentive.

Disappointing meal to be honest. The sashimi was nice, but the miso soup was not great and neither was the agedashi tofu or the rest of the food. Don’t get me wrong, it was fine in parts (ie acceptable). But I didn’t leave feeling good and I won’t return. The mayo seemed thick like it was out of a cheap bottle, the beef texture was not pleasant, the speciality dragon roll was not great. The American server was also quite clueless, we asked about whether a bowl was from and she just said ‘don’t ask me’ and that was her approach to any questions. The setting and crockery is beautiful. But sadly, the food just wasn’t anywhere near the standard of sushi and Japanese that we had in Edinburgh. I wanted to love this place, but it just wasn’t for me. This was a disappointing (expensive) meal, sadly.

The best sushi I have ever tasted, the freshness of the salmon, juicyness of the wagyu beef, and the quality of the sushi rice was heavenly. The waiters were nice and the aesthetics of the place were great. Priceless food, really happy I chose to eat here. 10/10 would go again

Great Japanese restaurant serving authentic dishes. The staff are super friendly. Taste is excellent and my mum who studied in Japan was very satisfied with her hot pot (sukiyaki)

The hotpot was tasty and the portion was generous but I would expect the quality of the beef to be a bit better. Other than this I think it’s a nice little restaurant that worths trying out.

We live in South Ayrshire but travel through when we can to go here. The sushi is phenomenal. Soft shell crab, salmon with cheese, tempura soft shell crab, etc.. It's just amazing. Richard, the manager, is the friendliest, most helpful, obliging, mannerly person and an absolute asset to this company. We tell everyone we know to go here, and they do. 100% in our eyes, go... You won't be disappointed.
