Visiting Glasgow from the U.S. & was looking for a break from the traditional pub food. So glad we found Pickled Ginger! I got the chicken gyoza ramen, which was delicious & a generous helping. My husband got the chicken teriyaki & loved his plate as well. The staff was friendly & attentive - Great place!

Went for an early evening quick meal. All in all, happy and would go back. Pros: Price, both had sushi and a non alcoholic drink. Came to ยฃ25 which was a great price. Location was easy to get to and didn't have much of an issue getting parked. Staff we friendly enough. Quick service. Tasty sushi. Cons: Inside looks a bit tired. There were two tables near the back which are essentially next to one of the disabled toilets, just a three of four feet away. Price and speed worth the 4 out of 5 Good Rating in my opinion.

It is a great Japanese restaurant. The waitress is very friendly and hospitality. The food is authentic and delicious. It is easy to park your car as well.

Great food! Soo filling and really good value for money! Got the char-sui ramen (sorry if I butchered the spelling) it had loads of fillings and the amount of meat is insane, their was at least 5 massive slices of char-sui so nice and chewy and broth was delicious! Service was great and that watermelon mocktail mojito is so good, tastes exactly like a watermelon! Chips were huge and great portion served with chicken and an addicting sauce! The chips alone could full someone up! The atmosphere was great, good music and all the staff were very kind!

When I visited this place for the first time I thought I found a perfect sushi place as they were really delicious. So I started visiting this place once a week and last time when I was there which was around a month ago I was very upset with the food I got - the size of one piece of sushi was abnormal, too much of mayo, they simply didnโ€™t hold their shape which you can see from the video, rice wasnโ€™t cooked properly. The most annoying thing was the size as it was of a big apple size which you need to fit in your mouth, so they simply fall apart. I was very disappointed with all of that. Hope they will improve.

Friendly staff, they offer European cutlery, but it's not on the table by default. Food was delicious, I was happy to find that they make their ramen with pork bone broth. The music was a bit too loud for my taste. Price is good.

Came for the chicken katsu curry, stayed for the bulgogi, the super delicious takoyaki and the ponzu salmon. Very friendly staff with good recommendations regarding selection of food. Small things that bothered me is the usage of red onion/tomato/cucumber on top of the ponzu salmon. Also the sake was served at room temperature. Will definitely return. This exceeded my expectations.

Oh my goodness what an amazing find tucked away in Finnieston. Not a very big restaurant & as we were early I think we were lucky to get a table in all honesty. Very friendly staff who were welcoming & for whom nothing was a bother. My colleague ordered the Chicken Katsu and I had the Beef Bulgogi I love food but this was so huge I was nearly defeated. There is enough there for two to share if you ordered a second rice. The food was attractive & beyond tasty I would really recommend this if you are nearby or attending anything at the SEC it is a short (15 mins ish) from there and worth the walk

Not the best.. But it was okay Replying to the PG Team: Mock-tails were charged at the Cocktail prices, the sushi rice for two of our rolls were very dry, our server was nice hence the three stars otherwise due to being overcharged and with dry sushi rice I would have left one star. I hope this helps improve things for other guests. Thank you

We popped in here for a quick lunch on Sunday afternoon. The waiters were lovely, friendly and knowledgeable - he recommended an amazing chicken dish for me and it was so fresh and tasty. The maki and sushi rolls we ordered were also fresh and really nice. Will definitely return - thanks guys.
