Haven't been in many year, due to moving out of the city, but wow, Still made very welcome. The starters we had was delicious, pizza was incredible. The owner is very friendly with a great sense of humour. 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Friendly and competent (if overworked) staff. The restaurant was pretty full, with nice decor. The food was a real highlight, especially the beef carpaccio and the monkfish.
It took 35 mins to place an order, even asked 2 separate servers, who acknowledged me. Too expensive for a standard Italian meal, too cramped. Which is based around the more covers the more revenue, to the detriment of comfort and the noise level. There are much better Italins restaurants in Bristol such as La Cucina in Westbury. Avoid.
Eye watering prices for incredibly bland and badly cooked food, with an owner telling out-of-pocket jokes. The restaurant decor is 'interesting', if you like primary school tablecloths and cheap colourful napkins in wine glasses. We were charged £19.90 for two (single) Campari and sodas which would be a stretch in a London hotel. Calamari, which was rubbery and overcooked, was just shy of a tenner. Chicken Milanese (£25.95) was ok but lacked seasoning, the pasta that accompanied it was overcooked. At the end of the meal the owner was telling "jokes" to another table. Word for word - "What is the best thing about taking a homeless woman out on a date? You can drop her off anywhere afterwards". Left a taste more bitter than the Campari. Absolute joke of a place and would highly recommend you avoid it. The young server was nice and friendly.
Exactly what you would want from a classic family run Italian restaurant. A lovely little hole in the wall, full of authenticity from the great hosts to the artwork on the walls and the rustic menu. We had a chicken dish and a venison dish that were both cooked beautifully and the service was personal and attentive. The wine could be argued as a little on the pricey side but overall a great experience and would definitely recommend and return!
Sergio's is likely to become one of my favourite Bristol restaurants. The food was exceptional including the best Tiramisu I've ever had! Service was perfect, Sergio himself came around and checked on everyone including personalised chats - the whole thing felt like a genuine family run passion project The atmosphere is very romantic, this is such a good date spot!
We really enjoyed our evening here. Booked for a Special Occasion and Sergio came out for a chat and gave us complimentary lemon shots. Massive vegan menu, lovely house red wine and a very family styled environment. Would definitely return.
Wonderful! Sergio is so nice, seated 8 people with 20 minute notice, one hour from closing. Food was absolutely delicious, we plan on coming back tomorrow! The house white wine.
Nice local place, that gives off a vibe of a family owned restaurant. Cosy sitting and good food. Staff is very kind and welcoming. They have good selection of wine and lots on the menu.
