Had a boozy brunch here with a friend in December. Bart was our host and couldn't have done anymore for us which was much appreciated. Food was lovely, drinks were topped up regularly and the overall atmosphere was great. Will definitely be returning soon. Great value for money. Thanks Bart and the team.

Tried the Brazilian Katsu curry at Las Iguanas on West Nile Street and it was a vibrant twist on a classic. The dish arrived piping hot, beautifully plated with a golden-crisp breaded chicken cutlet nestled in a rich, creamy coconut curry sauce. Unlike the Japanese version, this one leaned into Latin warmth—spiced just enough to awaken the palate without overpowering it. The sauce had depth: hints of garlic, ginger, and a subtle sweetness that paired well with the fluffy rice and crunchy slaw. It’s comfort food with a carnival soul. Portion size was generous, and the textures were spot on—crispy, creamy, and fresh all in one bite. Service was friendly and upbeat, and the atmosphere had that signature Las Iguanas buzz—colourful, lively, and perfect for a casual dinner with flair. If you're looking for something familiar but with a tropical twist, this dish delivers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would definitely order again—especially with a pint of Mahou on the side.

We got the lunch menu then added nachos to share. I'll start with the positives, the mains were delicious, we got the beef brisket burrito and the chipotle chicken enchiladas to share. I really enjoyed the mocktails too in particular the pink lemonade which are part of the £10 lunch. We added the nachos, the toppings were fine but I didn't really like the actual nachos. Next time we'd give them a miss & maybe try something else. We also got cocktails later, they do selected cocktails for £6 but I'd forgotten it was Friday, our fault but they weren't worth the full price. If you want cocktails go for the brunch deal, about £40 for 2 courses & 5 cocktails which is what our friends did. A great experience overall!

I love coming here for food! The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. The only downside is because of how popular/busy the restaurant is, it can sometimes take a little longer for food to arrive which is to be expected when the place is jam packed on a Saturday evening!

Great meal and staff. Not only was it surprisingly good Mexican food, but it was inventive as well. The oat milk drink with popcorn, which was basically horchata, was a perfect mix of sweet and cinnamon-y goodness and fun to drink. The jackfruit was pretty subtle in the burrito bowl. Mixed with all the ingredients, it really could've been anything so it was a nice meat placebo. One of our servers was also kind enough to give us a few touristy recs to check out for our last day in town, so the place was tops in every category.

Katelyn served us this evening and she was fabulous. All our food came exactly how was requested and nothing was too much bother. She was attentive, knowledgeable and had a great personality. Thank you so much.

Warm and friendly welcome. The place was busy with almost every table full (glad I had pre-booked) We were given time to view the menu and ordered our drinks. My Mango Collins became a Raspberry Collins but tasted so nice I didn't bother sending it back. Food arrived quickly, was piping hot and tasted amazing. Wish the Brazilian Fried Chicken could be ordered as a main-sized portion. The fajitas were amazing, so much filling and extras that my companion couldn't finish them all. Offered desserts but we ran out of time to order (alloted seating time 90mins) Great value for money and we'll definitely be back again soon.
