We were unsure where to go so we thought we would come here because we’ve never been here before so we were taking a risk if we were going to like the food or not but the food was amazing quality, we both really enjoyed it! So tasty and the service was quick and the staff were friendly, we will definitely be returning!☺️
Fab service and great food. Came in for my brothers birthday tonight, as a group of seven. Our waitress was brilliant, very friendly and often checking in about drinks (which when ordered, came within a minute). About a 25 minute weight on starters, which was completely fine and then mains were brought out promptly after being cleared. They also came out and sang for his birthday which was lovely. Would highly recommend!
Can't express how bad the service is here Arrived at 19.15 Ordered food and drinks at 19.30 Drinks took that long, the manager asked if we had ordered yet Finally got our drinks and starters came soon after. My wife raised concerns over the wait time for our mains at 8.35 with the server and we are still waiting. No drinks. No food. Asked again at 8.45, was told at 8.50 we would have our food in 5 mins. The place is empty and other customers that arrived after us have ate and left. We're now left with no drinks. No food, no response from complaints except for promises of our food in 5 mins and we would be looked after about the bill. I then went to the bar myself to get 2 glasses of water. 15mins later we saw our waitress with her coat on !!!! We left and went to burger king where we were served with respect and courtesy We are shocked by the lack of customer care and would NOT ever recommend this establishment to anyone! You will see in my picture, the amount of people in the restaurant and we still couldn't get served.
Lovely place with amazing food. Service was great, we mentioned that we are vegan and got given a vegan menu, well catered for. Food was really nice with decent sized portions. It was quite slow for only having a couple of customers in at the time, but thats probably the only negative that we experienced.
Give it this place a miss if you want fast service. Understaffed and can't function well at busy periods. We was here around 2 hours and only got starters and mains. Decided to miss out desert which we never do as got fed up with waiting. Our starter was lovely, we shared a bowl of nachos which we really enjoyed, this did come out quickly. Felt the bowl was smaller than normal but otherwise okay. For our mains we had to wait around 40 minutes. We both ordered fajitas, mine being bbq pork and chicken, these came with only 3 fajita wraps, which wasn't enough. I couldn't ask to order more due to no service check, or let the restaurant know my partners fajita order was incorrect and was missing her spicy sauce. We did try to grab a server, but this was hard due to them not being around our table section often. In a short, we had wrong food come out, poor service at our table and long weights.
Lovely food and drinks at a great price. The reason for three stars was due to the wait as it took almost 2 hours to be served 2 drinks and 2 mains. The staff were very good at apologising for the wait but as it was very quite in the restaurant could not understand why it took so long. Would recommend for the food but ensure you give yourself plenty of time to be there.
We planned to pop into Frankie and Benny's next door but found them closed for re-furb. We won't be having breakfast at f&b again! Never thought of Chiquito for breakfast before but it's awesome. All the food is freshly grilled rather than fried and it actually looks better than the pictures advertising it. Taste was superb. If you've not tried it I highly recommend. The waitress that served us was lovely and checked regularly that we were happy.
Have been a few times now and always impressed with the food. Reasonable prices and usually some sort of deal on too (cocktails 2for1 and sides 2for1 this time). Plenty of options for those who don't like really spicy food but still enjoy Mexican too. Staff are friendly and service was still pretty quick, especially for a Friday night.
