   Fantastic pub grub. Really friendly service and good food. I believe it was Ross that served us. He made us feel most welcome and ensured we had a place to sit with our dogs. He was very friendly. The food arrived quickly and was very good! Best Mac and cheese I have had. My mother absolutely loved that she could have breaded rather than battered fish and chips. We will be back again!

   I was part of a large group for a birthday party, the food and service was first class! Staff really went above and beyond. The food was brilliant and highly recommend. The whole table enjoyed their food and banter with the staff. Highly recommend and will certainly be back. Thank you for a great day!

   Fabulous visit for lunch today. Phoned ahead to book as one of our party is in a wheelchair to double check accessibility. On arrival they provided a ramp for us and we had a table next to the door & toilet. Food was outstanding. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Fresh, tasty and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

   Food has improved since my last visit with new management, the fish and chips were lovely and fresh found a few bones but otherwise was lovely, I had salmon pate from the Sunday special. For the portion size of pate it could have done with another one or two oatcakes. The waffle and icecream sundae was also nice, over all good pub grub. Service wasn’t great tho, food came quickly but was little aggressive and antsy.

   We visit here for dinner whenever we come back to stay with family and are never disappointed. The food is always very good quality (the fish and chips and the macaroni cheese are both to die for!!), the service is fantastic and the place is always clean, tidy and very welcoming. I can't recommend the Longniddry Inn highly enough, whether for a family meal, romantic dinner for two or a celebration, I doubt you will be disappointed!

   We haven't been to the Longniddry Inn for years and wanted to try it again to see what it was like. The menu was varied with something for everyone. The presentation of the poached egg and black pudding starter was lovely but the egg on both dishes was over cooked. The prawn cocktail seemed quite basic for the price. The sizzler plates all came with a sweet chilli sauce, it would be nice to have more options, maybe serving the salmon with a glaze instead. The pie was nice with good quality meat. Shame it was just a pastry top. I can't fault the portion size of the mains, they were huge even the children's meals. The service was slow at times and not everyone was as friendly as they could have been. I would say it's average pub food that some chain pubs could easily top.

   Had a late unplanned lunch with hubby and mum-in-law. Great menu and food was piping hot, plenty of it and delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely eat here again if we are over that way. (also each table is provided with a wee pair of scissors to open sachets....brilliant!)
