   If I could give zero stars I would! Sat down, 15 mins later had to look for staff to order. Eventually after half hour I got my starter (prawn cocktail- no cooking) this came with plain white bread rather than the brown bloomer. I had to search after staff for butter! Main course served while still eating my starter- no veg despite peas being included on the menu! I stay regularly at Premier Inns and this is only second to the Norwich ring road one as the worst experience!!

   Went there for breakfast. Asked for comfortable seats, post operation. Waiter couldn't have been more helpful and offered me a selection. Service, all round, was second to none, very friendly. Food was first class. Both me and my brother will meet there again.

   Came here for the all you can eat breakfast. Cooked fry up items like bacon, sausages, egg, hash brown etc which you have to order then continental toast and choc au pain with a coffee and some fruit juices. It’s not fancy and the sausages are smaller than expected but for the price it was great value for money and very filling. Staff were also very nice and friendly!

   Shocking treatment from the restaurant manager. I entered by the side door as I was staying at the hotel. The restaurant was very quiet and lots of empty tables so I sat down to look at the menu. Only to be shouted at by the manager that there is a sign saying WAIT HERE TO BE SEATED. I was sure I hadn’t seen any such sign, but went to the main entrance to be rudely spoken to again. I asked him if he spoke to everyone like this, and was told he needed to know if I had any allergies. He then walked me to a table, passed the one I was originally sat at so I asked if I could sit there. No was the answer. The rest of the staff were very pleasant and helpful explaining the meal deal options. The way the manager spoke to me left me feeling annoyed so I left most of my main course. I exited the same way as I entered and noticed there was no sign saying WAIT HERE TO BE SEATED as I originally thought. I then spoke to the manager and explained that if he going to treat people like he did to make sure signs were visible at all entrances. It all ended with him telling me to leave and don’t bother coming back.( will be interesting to see how I’m treated at breakfast tomorrow) If I could give this place zero stars I would, avoid if you don’t like being spoken to like a child.

   Staying at Premier Inn next door. Arrived Friday lunch, my own data no connection nd ultimate WiFi paid, still nothing. However restaurant in table table Esk Valley, has normal working WiFi. It's eat out help out 4obight,due to no Internet had to book for a table in house. Premier Inn apparently can't take dinner bookings. Menu sticks to tables due to covid cleaning products, hmmm OK, make your own thoughts. So, had a Cider, £4.35, asked for lime wedge, they don't have any. Oooh, nothing else in area so no choice. You can't walk to anything else, tesco and McDonald's down the single carriageway, no footpath. Pub website says 11,yet closes when empty due to no footfall, fair enough. But you will not know this unless asking. It's 9.26pm and restaurants fully closed on the new Saturday night. Bar open until 10pm maximum. Can't say overly impressed.

   The staff are lovely and friendly and the chefs are probably good too but the standard and quality of ingredients just isn't there.
