Enjoyed this a lot. I would rate it as 8/10, really good ramen, broth could have a few other choices and pork could be softer. However, it was a very good ramen and enjoyed the Oolong tea. The interior is also very very cosy.
Great taste and quality ramen. We got the braised beef tonkotsu based ramen and the laksa ramen which were amazing!! However, mildly disappointed in the House special satay ho fun, but the sizzling aspect was fun. Would 100% come back for the ramen, booked on first table too and they only take cash or bank transfer.
Really lovely food- freshly prepared. We had the pork katsu curry and tempura prawn with rice. As we were new to this cuisine , the lady explained fully and gave recommendations. Highly recommend
Update: came again, had the octopus balls which were 5/5 and katsu pork ramen 5/5 - crunchy tasty yum yum. Cute place, nice decor and music. Easy to get lost watching the cooking mama-esque video they play. Service good. Got complimentary but hot nuts so beware. Now food: Had the bao buns - 4/5 we liked them but kinda gave burger vibes which we weren't expecting - think it's the iceberg lettuce. Nice and crispy though and good taste. Mains- boyf had sizzling house special with crispy noodles which he enjoyed.4/5 I had the seafood ramen 5/5 - seafood was nicely cooked, not overdone at all. Good portions for both. We had the two desserts- both good, you can mix and match flavours which was good. 4/5
Came here with a few friends and tried a variety of foods. Must try the sweet potato croquettes and the chicken wings for starters, they were my favourite out of all the yummy food! For mains I had the seafood ramen, a decent sized amount of noodles and the seafood, especially the mussels were huge! Definitely recommend this dish!
Very nice Tonkotsu soup base, tasty and not thirsty, no MSG added The snacks are crispy but not greasy, definitely worth a try We will be back :)
Sous chef here. A fantastic meal. We had takeaway and they separated our ramen, meat and broth so that it wouldn't go soggy on the way home. The owner had a chat with us while we waited for our food and he was lovely. Asked for feedback and even offered us a free drink. Genuinely there is nothing I could suggest to improve our experience. The staff were amazing the food was fantastic. The chicken was cooked perfectly. We'll be coming back to eat in next time!
Absolutely delicious food. We tried the pork ramen, seaweed salad, Japanese rice, tempura prawns and miso soup. It was all really tasty and wholesome. My boyfriend particularly loved the Asahi on tap! Angus and the team were very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you! We're looking forward to coming back.
